Love the trajectory on DelPo's forehand. It's one of the great mysteries of the universe how he manages to keep such a fast, low arcing ball landing in the court so consistently. Also, love the grunt of the guy just feeding the ball in at 1:50, to 2 of of the hardest hitters on the ATP who make no noise whatsoever.
I think he doesn't actually hit it so low, being 2 meters tall even if he's hitting low compared to his body he is not hitting it so low compared to the net
I watch these practice sessions and I can totally feel the ball in the pocket, the rhythm, the control, that beautiful moment where every atom of your body, every atom of the racquet, the ball, the court, even the air seem as one. I can’t wait to get back out on the court because I just know I’m gonna be in that moment, too. Then I shank the feed to my hitting partner...
I know this is practice but the second Del Potro put more pace on the ball, Diego struggles. 3:17 is a perfect example of that. It just goes to show with how much pace the ball leaves Del Potro's racquet even when it looks like he's not swinging too hard. Flat shot and the natural gut in the hybrid setup make it a lethal weapon for him.
Funny how Diego has a higher net clearance than Del Potro. Obviously Del Potro prefers hitting flat shots since he is way bigger and doesn't need to aim so high above the net.

Was David Ferrer feeding the ball in haha?
alignment, timing and snap
It’s not a mystery and you could do it too with practice.

I love that 'ping' coming from the ball whenever Delpo smacks it clean.
The sound is reminiscent of batting practice.
Del Potro makes it look so easy. Unreal
Love how Diego always gives 110%, at the end of the vid he runs down a ball way out
