For me, Federer & Del Potro stand out as having the best overall baseline hitting game…..in the history of the game. Andre, Novak & Rafa awesome too, but Federer and Del Potro just that bit better. Federer was more fluid and probably worked the angles better, but in terms of pure hitting of a flat ball, Del Potro stands out. So consistent. That forehand is nuclear and the backhand change up from slice to flat is seamless. Such a shame injury robbed us of at least 5 more years of Del Potro. I reckon he could have won multiple Wimbledons and hard court slams. Loved watching him play.
