Theo and Bee gave up their busy city lifestyles in 2014 to explore alternative living, and have lived in vans and boats since then without looking back! Along with their cat Ginjey Bear they have been driving around the world in their self converted Sprinter van. However, when the global pandemic hit they began converting their abandoned stone barn in Central Portugal to turn into a wonderful tiny stone cottage. Along the way, they have rescued a playful cat called Furrnando and have a wonderful flock of Chickens!

Way you named your cabin Alex because the little cabin is in wonderland,is so beautiful ❤
Take care guys, God bless you and stay happy 😊❤.
Wow the miracle of a tree from a tiny seed! Can't wait to see how many baby birches you grow x
fingers crossed!
Seems like yesterday that you had that short, white pixie cut. Wow, your hair grows so quickly! How lovely. Love both styles, of course. Nice that the blazing heat of summer has relented. I love watching you develop your dream home. I've been watching since Norway and the van! Every episode. More power to you!!!
Like the camera shots from the body, its cool!
Really cool to see your point of view. Besides, you can do your things using both hands
You're looking so well, Bea!
✨🙏✨🌦️
I can’t believe it but I finally made it to Portugal! The only reason I came here is you as you have talked so much about how beautiful is Portugal. I came all the way from USA at 73 years (1st time out of the country!) because of you! And you are right - Portugal is beautiful!
BEAUTIFUL VIDEO!!! BEA, YOU ARE JUST BEAMING WITH HAPPINESS AND POSITIVITY. YOUVE COME SO FAR IN SUCH A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. IT MAKES ME HAPPY TO SEE YOU AND THEO SO HAPPY. 😊😊😊💕💕💕🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
What a surprise finding the spring's, it's a lovely thing celebrating with cake x
You might want to consider gently digging up the baby trees that sprouted too close to a larger tree and move them to a better location with more light.
POV camera = excellent 💚
Thanks so much! It’s a fun way to film 🙌
You really need a wood 🪵 shead specially near the house 🏠 it would look tidy.
Great video lots of topics and different jobs covered. I think its lovely having a remembering tredition of loved ones who have passed. Our family have always and hopefully continue too. Bless your Dad.🎉 he'll definitely be proud of your achievements. Your Mum too of course. Hope you enjoyed your cake?
Love and enjoy your videos. May the lord bless and protect you and Theo and working on Miracle Mountain and getting ready for the rain
I love how you have blossomed since your surgery, you are like a new person. Well done missy 😅.
A rear weight on the tractor would give it more stability and more traction to the rear wheels when the front loader is on. You can get weights with a trailer hitch too, that would allow you to keep the weight on when towing. Watch that back Theo, there is a lot of energy in a drop of diesel.👍
Your property is so beautiful!
Love watching ur videos many blessings from North Texas ❤
You have such a beautiful place!
You guys could consider planting native Portuguese trees like cork oak , stone pine , olive and laurel etc …! That would be an amazing enrichment thing you could do for Portugal and the Portuguese people baring in mind the fires …
Water water water……the mountain truly is a miracle. So glad the fires missed you❤️🇨🇦
love the shots from the body camera!!! new point of view!!!
Do what the islanders do. Rope over the ridge and put a stone dangling at each end. Love to see all the nature. Thank you for sharing. ❤
What an epic place, do love a roasted chestnut🌰 🔥, bit of salt 🧂 yummy 😋
I wish I was 30 years younger when I watch you both
Both of you lost some weight! You look wonderful!!!!!!
4 hands are better than 2!!!!! THUMBS up !!!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🎇🎇🎇🎇👋👋👋
You are fit and able to get up there. I would need a kimd of skilift.
Great vlog on channel keep up the great video on channel thanks lee
I recommend you guy's fill up the big lake near the house, fires in Portugal are quite often and if you have plenty water not only you can save our house as it's very useful for helicopters to refil remember thinking ahead.
We’ve been trying to fill it ever since we moved here, it’s quite complex as the fire caused a lot of damage and dried out the lake quite extensively. This summer it has held all the water that entered from the spring so we are hopeful the winter rains will fill it up 🙏
So beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a lovely surprise to find a surprise video. Thank you.😘
A Gram from MO
Fabulous vlog. Just love the way you both work so well together! Bee, you aren't going to find that chestnut 😂makes me giggle. Well done, you two, hard graft, for sure ❤🎉😊
They look of delight on Theo's face when he was discovering the spring was priceless!!
Love your land, always something new!
I'm not keen on that POV camera. It's giving me motion sickness. Sorry.
Such a nice way to celebrate your dad.
You guys are really a homesteading couple, with Bee riding on the back of the tractor!!
Hugs from 🇨🇦
Always love my visits on the mountain. You two are terrific 🇨🇦🥰👋👵
I was wondering about the cabin. I was thinking I might of missed an episode about it!
Bee, I germinated jacaranda tre seeds and then put the grown ones in a pot until they grew to a considerate size to put into soil. I suggest try different methods hopefully you will succeed. Blessings to you and your family remembering your dad. 💖
And the wild hogs are very detrimental to all properties.. should be removed, whenever and wherever possible!!
Make a Hamik to move that rock. We just used a large towel rolled the rock on to it and two people could pick it up one on each end like a swing. We moved some very large rocks that way.
I've been growing avocado trees from the avocados I get at the store and eat and just dry out the seed and then plant it there's a codeine on the sea that you have to peel off before you plant your avocado seed keep your seed moist and it grows so much easier
We live in cold wet Germany wood is seasoned due to wet dry …plastic is good for fungus and insects
Time the production of fuel to seasoning it will not be a loss if wet
You should rename it Fountain Mountain
What a beautiful way to remember your dad. ❤
You are so lucky to have all those springs
Tie a rope around the rock and pull it out with the tractor
Those are called game trails ..😂
Chest cam is good view
Absolutely gorgeous.
Love your videos ❤
A fairietale farm!!!
It's a watershed. Typical of mountains.
Beautiful video 🤗👍🤗👍
This is for you Bee & your Dad Bless him 🙏❤🌹🌹☕🍰☕🍰
Love Sue❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤
Curious, cause I’m ignorant but what would be the cost of bringing an RV to where you’re at from the United States it probably can’t be done so it’s my little stupid question❤ ❤❤❤❤ love you guys
You should get transparent roofing for ceiling for your cabin 😊
Should bee be worried Theo if you sneak a sleeping bag into your cabin 😂😂
Planted an acorn on my daughter’s birth, grew into a tree, planted a nispreso seed this spring, growing nicely.
Grew a lemon tree from seed from a grocery organ8c lem9n. Produced fruit after 2-3 years in a large pot.
My Crocks got holes in the bottom too! I bought a new pair and they didn’t feel right, so I bought an insole and put it in my old Crocks to cover the holes. It works great!
Don't let the birch seeds dry out, but not standing water, and be sure they're exposed to temperature change. I would have planted them in rows, but too late for that now.
make sure seeds go through cold season ....then plant seeds
Can already see water damage to bottom of cabin. Moldy on plywood on north end. Building in the watershed was not a good choice.
My dad'd birthday was last week (he would have been 100) and the 20th anniversary of his death will be Oct 4. Amazing. Theo is right - a big woodshed is in order - probably with divisions for last years wood and the one to use next year maybe? but whatever. it will make life better for you both. And yes that cabin - you have SO many projects that I'd lost the memory! It will be nicer because of that spring - water to drink but also to attract the animals. Another great video -of you both - I'm excited to see how the trees grow. I want to try that with a local variety of pine.
We have a horse chestnut 🌰 here in New Zealand in our garden but the nut case (lol) is smooth.
It looks exciting to see the springs & how close to the cabin. I too can imagine those that lived there years ago getting water.
Deveriam fazer algo coberto para armazenar vários tipos de lenha. Os que são para iniciar fogueira, os que são para queimar (maiores) e os que estão por cortar. Beijinhos
Happy Heavenly birthday to your Dad 🎈
HELLO SWEETHEART LOOK AT YOUR HAIR BEAUTIFUL BACK YOUR NATURE I LIKE WE MISSED ALL YOUR VIDEOS WE ARE PAST SIX MONTH HOPE WE RECOVER LITTLE BY LITTLE
❤ Love your videos. Hello from the north of Sweden!
We would start maple trees as kids by putting them in a damp paper towel and later putting the root end in a soda bottle to get bigger to plant.
Get a donkey for the rough terrain🫏🫏🫏
Need to sort an easier way to get to the cabin mental
Next time pre fold the tarp

It's entirely likely that the cats are responsible for the dead birds.
Definitely not up there. It’s so far away. We have a buzzard that lives near there.
Hi guys. I just love you two. Maybe you could make a fairy land but just a little big for your forest up at the cabin and close to your house or pond island with twinkle light's. ❤️🫂👍👍🇨🇦
27:00 maybe you could create a small water basin out of all the stones laying around, setup wild life cameras and enjoy the show?
