Hot Summer Nights - Oquirrh Lake Utah

On a hot Summer night my son and I decided to explore. We went to a place called Oquirrh Lake, a man made lake. This lake is in an area known as the Daybreak community in Utah.
The community enjoys paddle boarding, fishing, bird watching or just going for simple walks.
Surrounding the lake you will find millon dollar homes, trails, fishing docks, bridges and a wide variety of desert flora, ducks, birds and bugs.
In the background you can see the Utah mountains which pan pretty much 360 degrees around the whole of Salt Lake City's valley. . The only thing not found here are trees taller than 10 feet tall, as most of this area is a new growth zone. So needless to say, on a 100* day don't expect to find any shade here unless it's after 8 p.m.
I hope you enjoy seeing this area as much as we did. It truly is a beautiful community.
