Sooooo, I got to be part of a crazy epic thing! I know this probably seems out of left field BUT check out the full length episode and I’ll tell y’all all about my imposter syndrome sitting at this table soon! 🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠
Imposter syndrome?? Come on. Famous or not, every melinated woman knows the struggle. Voice yourself. I didn't know about Tabitha Brown until I saw her on Y T, so don't sell yourself short.
This was so beautiful! 💖 I gotta watch all the episodes now lol Hearing black women talk openly and freely about these topics are really refreshing cause it makes me feel seen ❤️
What I love this voice ,, so loud and amplifying ... I love journaling , love therapy , I love affirmations , I am black and I am changing my narratives .
This is so beautiful and well stated. When you don't have the language to express it. You feel lost. When you can communicate with clarity, you feel heard,, seen and confident. Thank you Hallease. I love this. Multiple generations, time zones and industries. Voices heard. I felt this to my bones
Hello! I absolutely loved listening to all of you speak your truth and understanding. As a female therapist, advocate for self-care from head to toe, and a woman who has a therapist because it helps me be the best therapist I can be, I loved the conversation. Correct! going to therapy does not mean something is lacking in your faith. This is beautiful and I'm here for It All!!
Wow, that was such an impactful clip! I need to see more of that on RUclips. So great seeing you amongst such outstanding black women. You absolutely deserve to have a seat at that literal and figurative table 💕
Yay! I saw a version of this in Tab Brown channel! When I noticed you, I said out loud, there's Hallease! What a wonderful group of women to be in the presence of!!!
This is dope Hallease!!! I’ve been watching your journey over the last few years and I am in awe of the continued growth and the beauty you showcase on your platform! Thank you for being you my loc’ed sista ✊🏾❤️🌺
These are such important conversations to have amongst black women of different generations and I hope men are able to have similar conversations and then we have them all together because we need to understand our struggles. '..our lives are too short to hold grudges and wage wars because we need each other...'
This series is beyond AMAZING 🤩! Congratulations Hallease for being at the table, you have earned your seat Sis’ ❤️🥹While I was watching the episode I almost shed a tear because I felt SEEN, HEARD and UNDERSTOOD beyond my hearts desire. Ya’ll were undoubtedly spilling the tea, with the pinky up! Thank you for creating content that amplifies our voices! 🙌🏾🔥 Love to see you WIN!!!
So nice to see you in this circle! I got the notification from Tabitha Brown's page and saw you. Can't wait to see what the future holds for you and I'm so happy for you!
Wow 😲 that was absolutely dynamic. I’d like to know the language to articulate what I’ve been feeling these days. I’ve never heard of invisible labor, I’ll start there.
Omg I got a notification from you and Tabitha Brown on this. I started not to watch the other because I thought they were the same. Where can we watch the full dialogue instead of having to click thru different RUclips platforms to piece it together?
What a great discussion! I agree with your point, I’m always trying to expand my vocabulary so that I can better describe my thoughts and emotions. I was curious about Kelly Roland’s experience with feeling restricted by political correctness. Do you have any input on how you feel expected to act to be PC? How is that similar or different to catering to a white audience?
Looking at this , I’m sad that our women won’t go to therapy because of the therapists color. One of the best I have ever seen was a white woman and she was amazing compassionate, and she saw me, she understood and I was grateful for her.
Question: What is Silent Labor? They mentioned it and hmmm’d in unison but when I looked it up I only found the literal definition not necessarily what I believe these sisters are referring to.
The only imposter is the notion that you would be anywhere else but at that table. You may not be a household name (yet!), but you *are* a digital storyteller and you were asked to participate. Your presence is needed. Perhaps this is a nudge telling you to think bigger.
Wow never knew it was called spiritual bypassing yes I experience this before with an old neighbor I grew up with she would never want to have regular conversations instead she would always want to bring up the Bible all the time,
Who told black men they didn't need to get therapy? I have never heard any black person in my black community growing up say that. I have three sons I never told them that. At some point the one black experience needs to stop being subscribed to all black people.

Wow never knew it was called spiritual bypassing yes I experience this before with an old neighbor I grew up with she would never want to have regular conversations instead she would always want to bring up the Bible all the time,
Hello!
!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm not going to no white person to tell them my problems 🙃 yes, i mean how can someone understand me, who does not share anything with me?
Who told black men they didn't need to get therapy? I have never heard any black person in my black community growing up say that. I have three sons I never told them that. At some point the one black experience needs to stop being subscribed to all black people.
Amplifying Black Women? This seems a little racist and not very inclusive.
I had to google invisible labor midway through and ... 🫠🫠🫠
