More people should be watching these vids for Caro ideas. Absolute gems. There is a 3h one of Caro lines that’s just a free course basically. Analysis of top level play with so many nice details. Amazing content
Love your teaching style.. how you explain lines and your thought process. Chessable course on London is outstanding too. Hoping you do one for the Slav and Caro
I'm very happy to hear you are publishing a Caro-Kann course! I hope it's going to be structured like your London course. I haven't gotten it yet but the reviews are outstanding!
Hey Alex I'm a beginner and when i found this channel...maann it was amazing, you're teaching me all the great moves in details...i wish to play with you and learn from you...take love and respect from India❤️
I’m going to show off here and say that I actually saw the Bf4 defence - wandered if there was something wrong with it at first because you didn’t mention it during the game.
I was one of those people who felt lost in the Tartakower when I saw Pawn H3 like in the first game, but to see you turn it into such an advantage was great.
Hey Alex, I'm actually new to the channel (just stumpled upon your video) and I play the London as white. Gonna check out all your videos! Thanks for showing some great games, I think caro-kann could become my favourite e4 answer!
Your videos are great - I started playing Chess 8 months ago and am roughly 1600-1700, your videos make me feel like I know what I'm doing in the Caro really appreciate it
Maybe it's just my 1100 elo brain speaking for itslef, but isn't Bf4 on 13:13 just winning for white? Basically 1. Bf4 Nf3+ 2. gxf3 Qd7 3. Bxc6, and the queen can't take back because she's defending Rxe8#, so Rf8 by Black to avoid further losing the rook and White retreats its bishop
The third game was weird because I believe the guy had a very specific opening gambit idea, but you avoided it by taking the pawn 3... dxe4. The Landau Gambit: 1. e4 c6 2. d4 d5 3. Bd3 and now suppose Nf6 4. e5 Nfd7 5. e6 fxe6 6. Qh5+ g6 and then a queen sacrifice 7. Qxg6+ hxg6 8. Bxg6#.
Hey Alex! Nice to see a PioSolver fixed on the toolbar. What are you playing? I hope spin&go like me! GL and TY for the great content you constantly give us!

The pace of your teaching with a clear explanation is excellent unlike others that go through games at bullet speed . Great job !
I’m enjoying your content a bunch! In my game yesterday I saw the board and the potential moves/threats with more clarity. Thank you!
"I can long castle, but is that really what I want to do with my life?"...you make lots of funny comments. You have a new fan :D
Awesome! Thank you so much. I am loving it.

That back-rank mate issue was super insightful. Helps understand why developing the light-squared bishop is important.
I’m going to show off here and say that I actually saw the Bf4 defence - wandered if there was something wrong with it at first because you didn’t mention it during the game.
You make me smile when you smile brother. Infectious 😊 Great video. I’m learning albeit very slowly.
because of you i started playing caro-kann ,sou are making great content ,love your videos!
That’s flattering thanks
You are a really amazing game and lots of things have been learnt by your game thanks brother
Very nice content. I’ve been watching for a few weeks now and just subscribed; keep up the great work!
Thanks a lot for that sir
at 13:41 Bf4!
i fucking love this guy
Sir alex hello I'm from philippines I always watching ur helpful chess game tutorial lesson thank you. Hope to see you here in the philippines.
I was one of those people who felt lost in the Tartakower when I saw Pawn H3 like in the first game, but to see you turn it into such an advantage was great.

"I always lose when opponent plays such king move"
1 second later
"Ok never mind he just resigned lol"
Bf4 in the second game looks dangerous. If you take it with your Queen, you get back rank mated.
Yes but was less forcing, you can look at the analysis of the game

Glad to help mate!
What did you start at?
@@Romans8-9 Maybe like 800 - I'm 27 I had played a bit as a child but only picked it up again during COVID

At 13:03 what is the response if white plays c5 attacking the queen?
Hello if white plays c5 black has Nxf3+ to king white has to take and Qh2#. Hope you see it as well!
Just as i was going through your caro series another gem pops up.
Bxg6#.
Great stuff!!!
I love the way you can turn a d4 opening into the Caro Kann. Makes life easier.
Hi. When would your caro Kann course be released on Chessable ? I am dying to look at it. Thanks.
April next year. Thanks a lot!
Hey Alex nice video I feel like you are more relaxed in camera and more charismatic.
I been watching tf outta these videos and I stay hanging mate. Ima stay at it though!!
At 5:20 why not knight to A5?
That works too!
1st game why not Na5 after Qxb7
Hey Alex! Nice to see a PioSolver fixed on the toolbar. What are you playing? I hope spin&go like me! GL and TY for the great content you constantly give us!

You can only win in 9 moves when you use arrows. Do you think I can take them to my OTB tournament, or no?
I use arrows so plebs like you can follow my calculation lol
Shin of pame
Don't bother going to a tournament if you can't calculate that far in your head
yo brett what kinda rural sub 500 rating otb tournies you going to in the middle of hicksville?
@@patrykapiezo1650 what’s that mean?
Proud of myself for finding the bishop f4 counter on game 2. Even a blind hog can find an acorn every once in a while 😂
Lol!
Your opening rants are not useless very instructive for lower rated players like me!!! and your very funny!
To save his Queen in game 1 he would have needed to sac the bishop by taking the pawn on A6 creating a safe square on B5.
What is that program you used for your notes?
Chessbase 17 (but any version is fine)
Great video!
Thanks a lot bud ❤️
Always Great 👍
Game 4, I’m confused - why did you trade queens instead of taking queen with the rook?
That first guy was really shit for an FM. Taking the b7/b2 pawn always ends in tears
can't hear you on max volume. please.
great content
sounds of silence
4:30 is late afternoon
Thanks for that!
Bro great content. I think shorter videos will help as most people don't have the patience for 1 long vids.
i was using your great caro kann tactics and winning until I lost track of time ... up by five and done :(
💔
I FOUND BISHOP F4 I WAS SO SUPRISED HE DIDN'T PLAY IT
Explaining your opening ideas in detail is not a bad habit!😂 Please dont stop doing it :)
I could castle queen side but is that really what I want to do with my life???? Oh, gosh, you are so funny.
workes, everytime! thats why this guy aint world champ yet.
2100 ?? Why are 900s better
Great videos but please don't use the Lord's Name in Vain.
