- I have finally made a Technoblade song.
The Twitch streams have been crazy lately! L'Manberg has finally fallen, never to be rebuilt again. There were so many great arcs and members I wanted to write about. I chose Techno because his speech really inspired me. I tried my best to capture a different side of Techno, one none of us really saw until he stood on the battlefield, telling everyone how he really felt. I hope you enjoy!

wow, this is the only technoblade song I’ve heard that focuses more on his actual character, than the whole violence thing. this is great.

Might i recommend "Theseus" it's also absolutely amazing
It's his biggest quality since he's basically the final boss (something he even says himself), solves his problems with violence, and the only thing people need his help with is to kill someone or destroy something. Also probably helps one of his speeches mentions how people of this age talk through violence and he speaks the language well.

To be fair, Tommy didn't want Tubbo to get killed. He was fine with L'manburg being destroyed, but he wanted Tubbo safe. And upon Dream teaming with Techno, Tommy felt betrayed, as the whole thing was for Dream to die in the end, but Techno went off and got help from Dream.

I can’t tell if this comment is supposed to have a coma or not. Because if not then that implies that techno is not normally very honest with others about his feelings, and thus the one time he does do that very openly could be referred to as a separate thing in terms of someone saying “Mad *insert name*” instead of saying that the person is mad because they act so different when they’re mad that it’s just much easier to refer to them as an entirely different person. If the coma was intended then I’m just stupid and very embarrassed.

This is such a good description of Techno....like he's always being described as the traitor, but he is one of the only ones who has made his intentions crystal clear and he never wavers from them.
I think that tommy made his intentions even more clear than techno. Techno only told him he wanted to destroy l'manburg after many weeks together. and Tommy said immediately after they teamed up that he didn't want to hurt tubbo or l'manburg and techno brushed him off. He also manipulated Tommy a little bit, making him think that destroying l'manburg and hating tubbo was what he wanted.

@@laraschroeder5195 yes, but think about before hand. With manburg, when they took it back (after techno has SPECIFICALLY Said he hates ALL GOVERNMENTS) they made a new one. And when techno went through with his character, people called him a traitor. Its like going into a puzzle with a group of friends, finishing it, then one of them rips the puzzle in half, then when you get mad they all get mad at you.

Also techno showed Tommy his stacks of wither skeleton skulls the first time they teamed up after exile and made it quite clear, he also said he wanted to destroy manburg while in pogtopia and during dawn of 16th

That's SO Techno! Most of his attacks - I mean canon ones - were happening when he was threatened. When he was peer pressured into killing Tubbo, when Tommy blamed him for it and they settled it in the pit, when he was ready to attack Dream while defending Tommy, when the Butcher Army confronted him...

@@sadiemorgan4389 ooo I like that introspection. I really like the idea of him breaking away by his own choice rather than being exiled. Especially after his talk with Techno, Niki and Fundy. A clip i loved was after the bomb from dream and techno went off. Tommy said that he had the right to be selfish after giving up HIS prized possession (the discs) for their country. They call this selfish and along with the talk he had with techno its just a 👌 story arc I am 100% here for.
I do find that Tommy actually cared about L'manburg, and he also cares about Tubbo. Tommy would give up his last canon life in a heartbeat for Tubbo, and he'd burn the discs for the wholesome boi. It just goes to show why Tommy felt so betrayed by Tubbo when he was exiled. The discs aren't all Tommy cares about in the SMP, it's just what everyone thinks he cares about most, but he really values his friendship with Tubbo more, and L'manburg.

@@sadiemorgan4389 Yes, but tommy often lets his bitterness lash out. Remember when he says "those disc's were worth more than you ever were" to tubbo? I'm not saying he didn't care about anything, but he is starting to distance himself from other willingly exiling himself in a sense to fight for what he wants (the discs) (sorry if I said he didn't care). He is turning out to be a lot like Techno in a respect. Which is awesome from a plot point standard.

In most cases, the line "I never wanted friends anyway" indicates the speaker trying to be tough and pretending they don't care about the relationship... but here the way the line is sung makes it clear that Techno has always known this and is sadly admitting it to himself. 🥺

It's so sad when he said "you never were my friend anyway" because it's so clear how much he loved and trusted Tommy and how much Tommy hurt him. He's broken and this song is so sad compared to Techno's normal songs, it's amazing.

@@Persivefire Yeah... Phil was against him on November 16 but that's only because he was tricked by Wilbur into believing Techno was a traitor and he pretty much immediately decided to be neutral once things got cleared up. And then joined Techno after seeing what New L'Manberg became.

Even when the butcher army came after Techno, he begged them to leave cause he didn't want to kill them all. He really did want to be retired, but the only thing they cared about was revenge. Shows Techno's character is very loyal, but will slaughter a whole country if double crossed, or they use him.

“The day you willingly lost me”. So much in that line. Like he feels silly and belittled for ever caring. Literally such an emotional song
This song is amazing, I can't stress that enough. It describes, and yet doesn't describe Techno's character in the perfect way.
He's always told everyone he wouldn't stand for government, he always told the people of Pogtopia, or at least made some sort of relation to it throughout the war. People call him the traitor, they pin the blame on Techno, but in reality, who kept saying it over and over he wasn't going to stand for it? Who went on and did it anyway? His own allies. Or previous ones I should say.
Techno allowed Tommy to stay with him, even trusting him with a secret of the wither skulls before Philza, his best friend. Techno put so much hard work into making sure he and his allies succeed, but then he's stabbed in the back. In my eyes (although maybe not in some that don't watch Techno as much) Techno is the most loyal of all, and he's the one being betrayed.
Just a note to those who are going to respectfully argue: Until you see through the eyes of a villain, they are the true villain, but once you see what they truly are like, they're no longer a villain. Such as if you watch through Tommy's POV, you might see Technoblade as the villain, and that TECHNO betrayed TOMMY, but if you watched through Techno's POV, you see the opposite. It's all a matter of who you watch. Once you watch someone's POV, there's a better understanding there, and no longer are they the villain, because you see the behind-the-scenes, the morals and plans, they don't seem too bad now.

And, this was on his first time teaming after pogtopia. The amount of trust someone could have in another person who betrayed them once before is insane. Every character just wants to use techno(other than syndicate).
I like how it's focused on techno's character instead of violence. I love the song.

What I love about this is that it isnt so much angry as it is hurt. Sure, he was very angry about the situation, but that came from the festering wound left in his back from everyone hes trusted besides Phil

TECHNOBLADE NEVER DIES
These lyrics are great, captures the story and character really well! Most other songs focus on "The blade" so it's really nice seeing the attention to detail here
Love the transition from "I promise you will rue the day" and you "Double crossed me", it's such a smooth bridge from the build up to the chorus. Also love the quiet tone of the song, especially the whispering voice changer for "You don't wanna be on my bad side". It fits Technoblade's stoicism, and a lot of the lyrics reflect him trying to hide his emotions, but still betrays that boiling rage inside him.
