This is how a diamond is created. One of the best albums i heard in a while ( the other one is Skein Syndrome from POEM ) ...puts me back into metal again.Thank you VERY VERY much for the feelings i felt while listening to your album. You came in Greece and i could not come...i regret it for all my life. PLEASE come again. Wish you the best from the depths of my heart.
Listening to this and to the most recent albums. I really wish the guitarist would come back. He had all the great riffs, like the one in The Flood. Just awesome.
Got a little too excited when I saw that old tour poster with Ottawa on it haha.. What an amazing show! Really cool looking back at this video after the albums been out for a few years now. See you guys in November!
The reason why The Congregation is my favorite Leprous album is because of those amazing and catchy rhythmic sections (The Price, Third Law, Down, Red...etc)
One of the more unique prog bands I like, I just feel like something's different here. I'm biased as a drummer, but I've always felt like the drumming and vocals set them apart. Some of the drum parts are just very uniqe. Take the song "The Cloak", the drums don't come in until after a minute, and that hi hat is just so quiet and background. The second time around he builds it up. This is called progression, and song writing! So many drummers want to play the hi hat on every eighth/quarter note of a measure, which gets boring sometimes! Switch it up! Lol, anyways, just wanted to point that out. Excited to see the new album! \m/
+CareyPortnoyBeauford It's not the same drummer in the video recorded The Cloak.Old drummer left to join The Shining and he's really good drummer right...Baard Kolstat very talented drummer too !
+ENGİN Yeah it sucks that Tobias left, but they found a very able replacement in Baard. Hopefully they get a good bassist now, I was excited to see what Martin would bring given his live performance but unfortunately he left too soon.
You were amazing in strasbourg! i hope you guys will become huge, you truly deserve more recognition for your dedication and great music writing. cheers
My guess is that they just used the lyrics as a basis to test the growling technique. It doesn’t sound like it would properly fit into Third Law, more like some Rewind/Slave hybrid.
Yeah you have a point there. It could use more depth and warmth. It's not as dry on Coal imo. The bigger complaint I have is with the bass tone, it's too dull and lifeless
That final riff on The Flood is probably the most epic thing I've ever heard in my life. Getting goosebumps every goddamn time.
LMNt8y hell yes, easily favorite song on the album
This band is the king of Goosebumps
Same, it's definitely my favorite moment of the whole album.
I LOVE it
For real. To this day, might be my favorite part of any Leprous song - and that's saying _a lot._
Baard is a beast!
I just....cant get enough. Einars voice = amazing. Everything about this band = amazing. Please come to the US, east coast! Philly! PLEASE! :D
1:50 the drummer's tight as hell
I already love Rewind and the Price. I CANNOT FUCKING WAAAIT.
FIIIIIIINALLY you guys bring back the studio diaries!!
Ihsahn-technique? 👍
the drummer is fucking sick :0
Geniuses at work
Awesome I now have a new band to listen to, great sound fellas.

The new album is going to be a killer - trust me! These guys know no boundaries.
You guys are the best band I've discovered this year:)
Last night, I was at your concert at Turkey. u were amazing guy. best progressive band in the world. Please come back again and soon.
I was waiting to see how they would use the guitar riff at 3:50 on the album. Magnificent on The Flood!
Drummer should have been on Whiplash
Would have ruined the plot though, the teacher would have had nothing to complain about.
Not my quite my tempo.
I cannot wait for this album.

Ah cool I didn't know that! Thanks

Fantastic! Exciting and informative. ;D Thanks for posting this, can't wait for the album!
the concert in istanbul was great, thanks for that guys. also congrats on your amazing album
I love every single track of this album and I love you more because you made it possible. Hope to see you in Rome soon, very soon!
Very insightful. And entertaining as well. Love the album.
Top 5 favorite albums all time. And that's saying a lot.
AMAZING

Man, I have really high hopes for this album! Definitely looking more forward to this than Sol Invictus :)
Maestros!!! Vengan a Colombia parceros!!!
I just bought this album (+ your live dvd ^^). Thank you...
my favourite album
I havent had a crush on band like this since Blue October and Keane. I know. I'm eclectic.
Can't wait to see you with Earthside april 3rd!
YOU ROCK !
Super!
loved the drum part
can't wait ! :D
0:58 shit, I love that intro!!
Come to Japan again, pleeeease
That screaming technique sounds kiiiiinda like Jens Kidman's on the last Meshuggah album at some points
Anyone know what programme Einar is using to create the sketches at the beginning?
❤
Now, that's a vicious scream...!!
Amor Fati on the wall!
Video disliked by the two drumsticks Baard was using.
and know I love you more
amazing, einar, how do you manage to scream and its sounds like you have two voices (one main and one high up)?! or is this already post processing?
Thomas Georgi Fry screaming. It's becuase of the overtones.
Thomas Georgi He's just a beast
Pigeon Lake alright, dont know to much about singing, but sounds awesome!
So curious as to what that device is at 7:13
It's a tape delay
Do you guys know which "ride" cymbal is Baard using? I know it's Sabian but not the exact model
Adorable ! Come to Russia!!!
What kind of scream Einar used here? Inhales? Exhales (Fry or False Chords)?
sounds like a deep fried exhale
19 days to go...
Amazing... At 2:46: what's the song? Thanks
It's Rewind.
@@Mikeoneus Thanks buddy!
is it Cakewalk Sonar ?
Anyone knows where the sample from the beginning is from?
Lower. Last song of the album.
8:40 Was Third Law supposed to have growls?
Pretty sure that's rewind, not third law.
@@StaszekIM Nope, those are the lyrics of Third Law.
My guess is that they just used the lyrics as a basis to test the growling technique. It doesn’t sound like it would properly fit into Third Law, more like some Rewind/Slave hybrid.
Man even the best always play to clicks. I gotta step my game up
I swear this guy looks like a Hemsworth brother.. Odens long lost Son, Thor’s real brother.
Literally the only thing I don't like about this band is how freaking dry the drummer's snare is. Especially on the last two albums.
dunno I though it sounds pretty natural
at least it's not like on St. Anger by Metallica
I cannot argue with that
Yeah you have a point there. It could use more depth and warmth. It's not as dry on Coal imo. The bigger complaint I have is with the bass tone, it's too dull and lifeless
Like seriously, why'd he change from the tone on Tall Poppy Syndrome??
Love you guys! Einar... your voice is FANTASTIC!
