In January, I called your customer service to obtain some info on the Counselor. Fortunately, the rep I was speaking with informed that he had just received one that was not yet assigned. I bought it! I purchased the leather hoister as well. The Counselor is a FANTASTIC pistol. Very happy with mine and highly recommend as ab EDC.
@@NighthawkCustomFirearms Hey Mark,I am awaiting my new Counselor. I think I saw it on your Instagram page yesterday with the RMR. It looks great.I can't. wait to get it.Feel free to express ship.. : )
Got to handle one (sadly not shoot one) last week at the Nighthawk shop... and now I REALLY want to add it to my NH collection. Seems like the perfect EDC for Summer carry. Now if you could add the Hi-Cap mag to this w/out too much hindrance to the thinness of this pistol you'd never be able to keep either model in stock. Not like that's really an issue...Ha. Was a pleasure to meet all the guys at Nighthawk and learn some history and share my old Talon #30 w/you all!!
Enjoyed having you here, Eric! Come back any time. It was really cool to see you bring in a piece of Nighthawk Custom history. Not many people out there with a Nighthawk older than yours.
I've owned a Counselor for about 6 months now. Fantastic pistol. Mine is all metal, hardly any recoil, and very accurate. I own 3 Wilson's also, but am waiting on my order of a Nighthawk T4. I just like the shorter barrels for carry Chomping at the bit for my T4. Please hurry Nighthawk!!
I've got a Counselor with the steel frame upgrade, tritium night sights, and IOS cut on the way and can't wait to take it on its maiden voyage. Someone had custom ordered it through a dealer and wasn't able to complete the deal so I didn't have to place a custom order. This will be my first NHC and somehow, I'm pretty sure it won't be my last. Great job on the design!
@@NighthawkCustomFirearms OMG, so I've had the Counselor for almost a year and wouldn't you know it, I hadn't taken it to the range yet. Life kinda got in the way and well, ammo costs have skyrocketed so I haven't been as willing to plink 300 rounds in a range trip. Anyway, a friend of mine wanted to become familiar with firearms. She's interested in getting her CPL so I had her at my house for a 1.5 hr session including field strip, naming parts, re-assembling, and explaining all the important safety rules of safe handling. Took the Counselor to the range and it's officially my absolute favorite. I've owned Wilson Combat and Ed Brown 1911's and non 1911 style as well. By far, this is as accurate as my full size but it fits my hands better and is perfect for CCW. Kudos to the Nighthawk team for such an incredible design and for the amazing workmanship and quality. I'm a forever fan!
We use an Everlast commander length spring with a certain number of coils cut off of it. This is why they aren't available on the website. If you contact Bob Reeves at bob@nighthawkcustom.com, he can get you all set up.
Are there plans to offer this Nighthawk version with an Agency collaboration? I'd love to get one, but not keen on the full size frame and weight of the Agent 2.
Id order the counselor now, if you made in .45, I bought the carry plus in .45 and Love it, I won’t buy a Wilson Combat again, my first pick is Nighthawk now, I’ve been waiting on a subcompact 1911 in .45, but so far no one makes them reliable, but yet the Shield and XDS work fine in .45?
As you said, to each their own. All opinions are welcome, but we believe if you came and took a look at everything that goes into building each pistol we make, you might see things differently. They're an investment, for sure. Maybe not for everyone, but those who purchase a Nighthawk are getting the best. That's why our customers continue to come back.

Glad you're loving that pistol! Was that your first Nighthawk?
@@NighthawkCustomFirearms Yes! I'm hoping it is not my last. Already started saving for a second one.
Nice! What are you looking at getting?
Ordered my Counselor last week.I think i finally found the perfect carry !!
You will love it. That pistol just feels amazing in your hand. Really incredible what our R&D department developed.

Some good ol' Southern boys right there

@@sbutler888 Thank you very much! We love hearing that! Those Counselor's are incredible! Hard to appreciate until you shoot it.
Good looking piece! Very interested.
Thanks, Ken! We think it's a pretty great pistol. If you ever have any question, feel free to give us a call.
What kind of recoil spring does this use? Looking for a replacement part on your website but cannot find for the officer model.

Im looking for a commander barrell (4.25") with an aluminum officer size frame in 9mm.
Our T3 model is a 4.25" barrel on an officer frame. It can be had with an aluminum frame upon request.
Are there plans to offer this Nighthawk version with an Agency collaboration? I'd love to get one, but not keen on the full size frame and weight of the Agent 2.
Hi Jason. There are no plans to collaborate with Agency Arms on the Counselor. That is strictly our model.
@@NighthawkCustomFirearms Alrighty. Thanks for the reply.
Can u get it double stack
Unfortunately, no. We do not offer the Counselor with a Double Stack upgrade.

Glad you're loving your Carry Plus! We'll see if we can figure out a really great subcompact in .45 ACP. Thanks for the feedback!
The counselor looks perfect if it was .45, maybe I’ll have to go to the dark side , and get one in 9mm?thank
You
@@TheBandit59 It's a very impressive carry pistol. We think you'd enjoy it.
You guys should bring more models to California, please , please
Here are very limited options
God bless you guys and be safe with the virus 🦠 around
Through our EGI program, we're offering more models to California. We wish we could offer the Counselor to Cali residents.
Nighthawk Custom that will be very nice 👍🏼 to have in here
Add a comp and I'm in. 3.5" barrels are too snappy for me
Just sent an email about one of these.
Have you gotten a reply to your email yet?
You guys make nice guns but the prices are totally unjustified. To each their own

The lady doth protest too much, methinks.
Not impressed with the rivets in the grip, otherwise sharp looking
10mm!
Sadly, a 10mm Counselor is less likely than finding Sasquatch and the Easter Bunny playing playing chess in Times Square.
@@NighthawkCustomFirearms I can't stop laughing, you guys are the best!
Great gun but the grips are terrible. Look cheap including rivets on a very expensive gun.
Totally staged sales pitch. Nighthawk copies Bill Wilson videos with Ken Hackathorn and Larry Vickers.
Not a surprise, how did this company started ???????? I wonder !!! The products are good but still !!!
Agreed. I was expecting a review and got a sales pitch. Still terrific firearms for sure!
