You need a 5/8 cable for roots. I used to be a manager in a Home Depot rental now just an associate. When you rent the 50ft or 75 ft they only have the heads up to 2inch. The 100 ft comes with heads up to 3 in.
Nice work! I think you'll be getting a call from that car dealer. These prices on new vehicles are unbelievable. The best way to make your old truck run better is to price a new one!😊
I just bought a Chevy Express. Fully decked out with metal shelving and large 4' deep drawer slide out the back. Love it man. BUT VAN PRICES ARE FKING INSANE RIGHT NOW. It fits both of my MYTANA drain machines and all my plumbing tool for service and remodels. It was a gamr changer. I was working out of a 03' Chevy silverado.
@@tomdale1313Good questions. Mechanical drain cleaner is a simple motor used to drive a cable through a pipe or drain in a boring motion similar to a drill, constantly rotating the cable in a clockwise direction. Water is often simultaneously fed into the pipe to flush out any obstructions. Always start out using a spade cutter if it fits in the cleanout. The spade cutter will open most clogs and has less chance of escaping a broken line because it is a larger tip. It also has less chance of getting stuck inside of a root system because it is a larger blunt object. Another name for the spring head is a bulb auger. I hope this reply helps.
Good work Brian. When the black water came back out the sink, I was waiting for something nasty to float up. 😂 I looked up your big snake. Wow they are getting a lot of money for those now ,even without the auto feed.
I have a kitchen sink with a single lever pull out spout that is very hard to turn to the left and right, I sprayed it with pb blaster but it’s still hard to turn, any ideas? Thank you Steve
Love the videos, just be careful because a lot of warranty companies won’t back for call backs in the 30 days from my experience, of that drain backs up again, you doing that for free
You’re going to mess up that cable if you do get into roots with that large cutter. There’s a reason only certain heads are made for that size cable and machine. I’ve never been a fan of drum snakes for many reasons. If you do decide, one day, that you are going to get into some serious sewer cleaning using a cable, look at the Ridgid K60 sectional machine with a 7/8” cable. I have run 200’ cutting roots with no problems with the K60. This is the king of all drain cleaning machines - high speed and high torque. You can use 5/8” cable in the same machine with a simple adjustment if you want, but I save my Ridgid K50 for those jobs.
My k750 has a 5/8 cable and it does take a 3/4. Dude urs sounds like a mad dog lol 😆 that just rips it to shreds. I already hate the 750 cus of how big it is. Yea I just looked urs up alot of people love that one.
Hey, you talking to me, that's too weird my anonymity feels removed...SOAP OPERA CONTINUES, I got a Ryobi snake too, made me 100 fast ones the other day (retired on SS, I'm 71) I do little jobs like a small drain job or faucet repair, lowered a kitchen waste height (old galvy pipe 11/2")...I like that snake you're using and how you got the adapters off Ebay too, I need some more info to copycat your set up, need help with the Ebay hook-up got to have the self-feed a must for this old man...what size cable is that you using?
Hahaha, i am loving my ryobi so far!!!yep im 34 and i still love small jobs. That's the 3/8's that comes with it. Yea that adapter just Google or look it up on ebay ridgid to general pipe cleaner adapter. Yea I'm spoiled, I need a self feed on everything I buy lol 😆.
what model is it, is it made by Ridgid...home depot sells them@@thehandymanexperience226 K-400 AutoFeed Drain Cleaning Snake Auger 120-Volt Drum Machine and C-32IW 3/8 in. x 75 ft. Cable + Tool Set & Gloves $887.00 Home Depot
RIDGID 57043 Power Spin+ 1/4" x 25' Hybrid Drain Cleaning Machine Snake Auger with AUTOFEED, Manual or Cordless Drill Operated Drain Cleaner with MAXCORE Cable....IS THIS THE ONE YOU HAVE?????
Don't buy a new truck, look for a low milage used vehicle or buy a wrecked vehicle at auction and have if fixed up like new and you will save big money in the long run if you have the cash for the deals.
Not sure what you’re driving but even if you had to invest $3000 to get it running good you’re ahead of the game. Prices on new and used vehicles are crazy plus the interest rate will kill your monthly payments. Just my 2 cents worth, good luck👍
Yeah definitely not paying ABOVE MSRP. Fix the old gal up. Or look around for a good used rig. I looked for 2 years and finally found a really nice GMC H D, 4x4 w/ utility body, w/ high top capper on it. Plenty of room and she's a beast 💪
Thanks I fully trusted Dennis. He was so quick to know so I pretty much knew he has watched many of your videos. Glad to have found it myself. I love channels like these.
sanitary main working again, you did it. I imagine homeowners grateful
Thanks yea definitely a pain in the butt!!
Nice work! Cheers from Pennsylvania
Thaanks!! I'm trying!!!
Nice video! Mechanical rooms are after thouhts never enough room in them. Good luck van shopping!
Thanks it was hell

I'm packing out this new truck and trying to figure out how I fit all the other stuff in my other truck
@thehandymanexperience226 hell ya. Glad you found a new truck. It really is a game changer. Good job building your business.
I like the spade tip on the mechanical drain cleaner. It’s my primary go to along with the spring head for sanitary clogs.
I'm lost here, what mechanical drain cleaner and what spade bit, also what is a spring head?

txs for the info@@tomn4838
I haven't really used the spade yet, I'm always using the spring! But the spade looks really tough!!
nice job Brian! That cable looks bigger then 3/8 . thought it was half inch for sure....
I could be wrong it looks like 3/8 I need a comparison lol 😆 😅 I'm no drain master
Good work Brian. When the black water came back out the sink, I was waiting for something nasty to float up. 😂 I looked up your big snake. Wow they are getting a lot of money for those now ,even without the auto feed.
Yea it's crazy how inflation is going man!!
I bought a used Transit 250 six years ago and I absolutely love it I paid $35000 its a crying shame how much they are selling for now
Yea I just bought one for 51700 lol brand new but yea the market is crazy and that's a cheap one too
@thehandymanexperience226 Omg that's expensive but what are you going to do? I think you will enjoy it
Those prices are outrageous
Yep u got that right!!
Gotta find a dealer that only sells at list. They are out there.
I kept calling it was crazy I did find one but they sold their last van I wanted
Bleed the hydraulics on the clutch sometimes a lot of the residue dirt
That's a good idea!
“well they’re actually selling above msrp right now”
not to me they aren’t, later
Yea crazy in demand I guess
Where I live dealerships are giving employee pricing on trucks
Yea in the mid west they think they have gold
No one is buying cars above msrp (except for Toyotas/Honda). Rates are too high, and the market is slowing down.
With these they all are it's crazy apparently the postal service is buying them up
I have a kitchen sink with a single lever pull out spout that is very hard to turn to the left and right, I sprayed it with pb blaster but it’s still hard to turn, any ideas? Thank you Steve
If u can't loosen it up its probably able time to get a new one
Love the videos, just be careful because a lot of warranty companies won’t back for call backs in the 30 days from my experience, of that drain backs up again, you doing that for free
Won’t pay for call backs*
Yep this one makes me warranties it for 60 days. I usually don't get call backs.
grab a bucket and flip it over, its a great seat :D
Definitely a good idea!!
The ol bait and switch. Kinda illegal but what do I know
Yea lol stupid people I had to keep calling to find out the cheapest crazy stuff
Great video !!! thanks
Thanks Michael!!
👍👍
Thanks mike!
do you watch NYDRAINS, HE has a nice rig like that one but older, he has the cutter on his that will go through roots.
I don't but I'll have to look!!!!

Do you clean up the sinks after clearing the Clog?
Only for my customers. Not really for property managers and warranty companies
Why black water soon as you plunge
Couldn't tell yea , staring up the crap I would say
