I bought the bigger size Lottie bag from Aspinal of London to bury the urge to get Chanel caviar leather classic flap. Satisfied the urge, never felt the need to buy Chanel, and with their current prices, all in all, it was a good choice!
It is a great alternative to the Jumbo flap and much lighter weight too!
I’m always recommending Aspinal of London bags and also showing how they are great alternatives to Chanel bags. The Large Lottie is a good alternative to the Jumbo; and the Micro Lottie is just a touch smaller than the Chanel minis. Such good quality as well. I’ve also said the Bayswater Tote is a great alternative to the Neverfull. Again fantastic quality 🥰 x

Good video, we all need to remember we are paying so much more for designer luxury brands, not only because of their leather and craftsmanship (which is a little dodgy sometimes) but we are mostly paying more for the BRAND! The brand name is the one that is carrying most of the value.

I think another good alternative to the Hermes Kelly (for the 25 size or smaller), is the Salvatore Ferragamo Iconic Top Handle Gancini bag! Great video!
Love Aspinal of London, great quality at a good price. I would also recommend the MCM Liz Shopper as an alternative to the Neverfull. Thicker canvas, real gold plating on the hardware, removable pouch & I think the medium is still under $700 USD before taxes.

I love Aspinal of London bags and it’s very popular here in England. I have the small Lion Lansdowne bag for many years, and it's been lovely to use. Their quality is great and they have their own heritage as well. I love them.😃
Hi Mel, greetings from Brazil🇧🇷 I agree with you, it’s not dupes, it’s alternatives right sometimes people may or may not confuse themselves, I wish ever partition were detachable like with push buttons, as the inside pouch in Mulberry bag, we would have way more choice and capacity

Dooney & Burke has the best option for the Hermes Evelyn. It’s called Henry’s Crossbody.
If you love Aspinal, also worth looking at Smythson bags... similar quality, and similarly they also go on (often quite deeply discounted) sale. Osprey of London also for top handle structured bags (eg The Mambo) - not as good quality as Aspinal / Smythson, but very good value and often discounted (currently £135 down from £265!).

Another Neverfull 'dupe' that's good quality and a bit cheaper is the Tod's pebble tote - I've seen it on a lot of discount websites (e.g. The Outnet). Full price, it's about the same as the Bayswater Tote, but The Outnet have it for 40% off right now. it's got a weird luggage tag on it that I don't like, but could easily take that off. It also has a removable pouch. I'm close to buying this instead of a Neverfull!

These are very well thought choices, thank you. Because I loved your small mac jacob tote (but in red leather), I went for a more affordable option from le foulonne line. The bag I got is red top handle :) and I use it as a work bag when I'm not carrying a laptop.
Great alternatives. I have the YSL mini camera on my wishlist. It’s a great bag for sure. I own the pochette Métis and I love that bag as well.

For Hermes Evelyn I also wanted to recommend Longchamp Foulonnée along with Aigner Munich Vica bag. It is literally a knockoff of the Evelyn as it is an Aigner A instead of an H.
And a H with holes!

I have my 👀 on the Cassie (hopefully it return to the UK) and Aspinal Lottie bag! I treated myself to the Coach Court bag in plain black leather with subtle gold hardware (hope it meets your approval haha! 😄) I thought it was the most practical with a 1 and 4 year old xx

These are some nice alternatives. I agree that the Longchamp Le Foulonné small crossbody is a prettier than the Evelyne, I think because of its leather strap. I recently purchased a mini Mayfair from Aspinal but the leather on the handle appears to have missed the moc croc embossing machine and is almost smooth on top. I can’t swap it because it was the last one in a shade I wanted (leftover from the Christmas collection). It is otherwise a well made bag but when buying from an overseas brand it is such a pain in the butt when things don’t arrive as they should and I think that has to be taken into consideration too.
Yes that is very true. I usually try to buy from websites that have free shipping back when it's overseas.

I own the Coach Cassie and I love it. I really want to purchase the Aspinal Lottie handbag. I will be looking out for the sales. I loved this video.
Coach Emery is very close to the Evelyne. It's still available on the Saks website or various pre-owned sites. The Emery is a great, high quality bag - much nicer than the Kitt, IMO!

This was really good and you have some beautiful alternatives to the luxury bags.
I have the large Mayfair bag in the same colour as yours and I love it. It’s so elegant. I also have the Large Lottie in taupe which is a great every day summer bag as it’s so roomy and practical and goes with everything.
I really like the Mulberry Tote too. I don’t like the Neverfull either and the Mulberry looks so much nicer and it has the turn lock closure. I will have to keep my eye on that one.
I don’t have any Coach bags. They don’t have a big presence in Australia. We are blocked from looking at or buying from their US website and their Australian website has very little stock so they just haven’t taken off like they could have had they not done that. I do like their bags but for that reason I can’t see myself buying one unless something changes.
That's really weird about Coach, you'd think they'd want a bigger market. Harrods, Selfridges, Farfetch and a few other websites carry the brand as well and they have sales on them too.
I suspect it has something to do with taxation laws or contracts of some sort. I shall keep an eye on the other stores you mentioned because I know they will ship to Australia. A lot of American stores don’t ship to Australia but most British and European ones do.

They do have the Cassie 19 back in black , white, signature canvas, and cherries. I'm hoping they come out with the larger Cassie although their people are saying no. Maybe if we all speak up enough?? 🤣😂

The evelyn strap is so scratchy. And not long enough for me.
I want to look into the alternatives. But I prefer the open top and leather suede lining.
I find the strap very soft, but we all feel things different of course. I love the open top and suede too.

I'm so pleased with my three bags from Aspinal of London. I also just ordered a micro lottie in printed saffiano leather, and I am excited to see if I will like it just as much as the other bags. (I have not seen anything in saffiano leather from them before). For anyone interested in Aspinal bags I would recommend being on their mailing list. That is how I have found my bags with great discounts! :-)
