Few questions:
For rivers: what about under water species and algae ?
how are we affecting them and how many will die ? (mechanical barriers do that, actually it's practically the same as dams)
For tidal waves: this barriers will affect oxygenation ?
what about species, how many will die due to the barricade ?
will plankton and phytoplankton be affected ?
basically, how are we messing the balance between us (the humans) and the other guys (living species) in the planet ?
