Thank u. This confirms my gut feelings and clarifies what I have been experienced with my friend who I share living space with. We will probably not be friends after i move out. Is it THAT difficult for people to be authentic? People like this must dislike themselves or at the least worry that people won't like them for who they really are (therefore feigning to be something they are not). My poor housemate says he is "confused". He asks me "why are you being like this?" I've never felt more confident with my thoughts and my reality.
