Madame Fanny clears the cafe with her singing , but in fact Rose Hill began her career as an opera singer and was very successful with the Sadlers Wells Opera Company. She was a talented soprano.
And an equally talented actress.

The first time my companion introduced me to these series on the telly in his flat in Poole my face and tummy muscles eere aching at the end. I am of Persian origin but I have always understood and loved English humour from my childhood in Iran. I lost him to a cancer in 2009. RIP🎉❤

Sam Kelly had some bit parts in Carry on movies. Sir Roger Daley's driver in Carry On Dick. Though I don't think he was in Camping. You may be thinking of Charlie Hawtrey.

I loved the movie too, and I agree that it is surprisingly accurate as to legal procedure, good lawyering etc. You did make a couple of mistakes, however. You conflated “reasonable suspicion” with “probable cause.” They are different. The former is the least level of proof/justification in the criminal justice system; the latter is a good deal higher. Yes, the cops in this movie definitely had justification to stop the car under either standard. But don’t mix them up.
Another mistake: a defendant does not have a right to blanket discovery. This is hornbook law. Under Brady he has the right to potentially exculpatory discovery only. Yes, you are right, however, that both parties have the right to the witness list of the opposing party.
Also, this is a criminal case, right? So why are you referencing rules of civil procedure? Explain.
