South Carolina here. Keeping up with your slow, but steady progress. I love NC. Many happy memories and vacations up your way. Thoughts and prayers with you each and every day!
Thanks for watching! Please share on any social media you have, as I don't have any besides RUclips. This video was shot in Georgia though, just for clarification. GA was hit hard by Helene.
New viewer here from CT. Whatever you do make sure the feet are anchored properly. We bought one of those for camping and the wind did a lift. You guys are in the mountains where there's a lot more wind. We bought weights for ours. Enjoyed listening while you put the canopy up. We had just as much fun. The directions are confusing. Misery loves company.
You're right about the weather, appreciate your thoughts as you were driving. In NC there's Billy at Perma Pastures Farm channel talking to Dane Wigington channel 3 months ago and yesterday, check them out. Here's the titles: *Your Weather is Not What it Seems with Dane Wigington* and yesterday: *Live with Dane Wigington from Geoengineering Watch.* Dane puts up short videos, easy to share and he speaks about ice nucleation and creating these winter storms in this title last night: *Flash Freezing US, 90 Second Alert.* Stay safe out there, you have a beautiful family, God bless you all. PS Real Fishing Life channel covers a lot on created storms too, he's a commercial fisherman in the Gulf out of Florida. He covered what he saw on radar as Helen hit FL and moved up into NC and TN.
It has been a huge mess, but when it happened I wanted to do something to make a difference. I went down to Blanchard Park with my chain saw and tried to cut up some of the debris and deadfalls that took out the cross country trail, and was overwhelmed with how bad it was and how dangerous it was to do it alone. It was then that I decided I had to be involved in some other way, where I wasn't by myself, and was also involved on a larger scale with the clean-up. I saw the job listing pop up and applied and I've been doing it since the end of October. I enjoy the work even if I complain in some of the videos, don't let that fool you, I'm glad to be out there and to be a part of getting rid of this mess, because it is a huge mess.
My first day of the storm was terrible. We had to do some body removals women and children. I have been with Big Dog for 22years and I have seen ice storms, but this was much worse
The Americas Tree Service truck is that from RI? 401 is their area code. That truck labeled Disaster Relief is that FEMA? They are needed in WNC but not found. Been monitoring there since the President came to Valdosta.
I'm not sure, I haven't spoken much to the drivers. We are friendly with them, but don't have alot of time to talk. Most all of the drivers are from out of state. Alot are from Missouri, some are from Tennessee, Louisiana, and NC even.
From N.W.Pa. watch on you tube from Sept 27 24 . So neat! See family be normaly. Before Chirstmas, In Alantic GA near woods, they take there wood make sawdust and take scrap metal and they're sorting all out and then they haul it off to get a big pile it was on RUclips RUclips's becoming more better than watching local television channels I love that country and it costs too much for a cable when I watch TV and I mostly watch more things on my RUclips Channel
Yeah, you are not wrong, the dust has been very bad, but I'm used to construction and feel like I did when we put down gravel base. It stops up your sinuses pretty bad and burns your eyes.
For folks like me please introduce yourself. My name is Grace. Knew Georgia got hit but WNC has been the focus until I saw your video by accident. Thought you were in WNC until I saw the correction. Exactly what do you do?
Thanks Grace. I"m Kevin, the guy with the beard, making the videos. One of the reasons I wanted to start making videos like these is because there hasn't been much coverage of the destruction Helene wrought on the South Eastern US besides WNC. Thanks for your comment and I hope you subscribed. Best regards.
Yeah, I would think that is what it would soundlike if we were on a spaceship once the heat shields were enabled. It is definitely a unique sound and I think it's worth documenting.
Yeah, I'm looking up to the man up top in the lift to see if he needs me to scan anything, or if he's just waiting on something to print the ticket. Maybe the ticket won't print and there is a problem with the printer that I need to sort out...I don't like looking up. If you do it hundreds of times a day it gives me vertigo...it's an easy job, but stuff like that makes it hard...just waiting, not knowing, looking up, waiting again, and again.

Not sure what's happening but all I'm seeing is grass? That's better.

The noise in the background grinder sounds exactly like the War of the Worlds movies exactly

Yeah, I did turn down the heat shortly after this. We didn't burn it, ate it all, it was great! Thanks for the comment.
For a couple of stogie smokers you guys have pretty nice vehicles
What does that even mean? Smokers can't have nice things? What?
Those Jack's for that lift look like they're leaking be tipping that thing over
There was a leak, but they say it's fixed. That's a good eye!
What’s this contract paying per cubic yard jw?
I'm not that high up. I don't know the money aspect of it.
Do not forget cheese sour cream
Why do you keep looking up in the air oh the brothers up there man you must have to document every load
