What an excellent video. I love that you state you are not an expert on this, but know enough to share your experience. Sometimes when you follow experts they go too fast, and it’s hard to keep up with them.
Thank you! I figure it might help others feel less intimidated to see another novice try / use something. What might come easy to some is harder for others. If I'm running into problems or don't understand, I'm probably not alone right?
Wish me luck, I just downloaded Embrilliance software on my Mac. I hope to improve my embroidery skills and enjoy your hints and knowledge of the PE800. Many thanks!
Some info on appliqué. In my machine the drop down is - “Appliqué Position” is the first stitch for you to place the fabric. “Appliqué Material” is the tack down stitch for the fabric. After which you would trim the fabric. “Appliqué” is the final satin stitch around the appliqué. Hope that helps.
I just ordered embrilliance stitch artist because I really think that the devs hit the nail on the head with making a user friendly package, v intuitive, if you make more videos on using stitch artist up to lv 3 would be great. I basically want it to reproduce my paintings repeatedly, for me, I think you can really achieve an almost van gogh style when you have so much control over stitch direction, pattern and texture, really amazing!
I love my embrilliance essentials as well. I love that embrilliance has tiers so that people on a tighter budget can approach and add slowly as they become more proficient. There is a lot that I haven't explored yet.
I found you after my recent PE800 machine purchase. (I have an original Disney machine from 2000 :) )I have been extensively researching a software to work with my new machine. I had several people and websites strongly suggest Brother software. I couldn't find information, tutorials, etc. to explain what each program did. I even contacted Brother support. They sent me a few links but basically nothing is out there. I decided to try the Embrilliance Express because that's what you used. I was still trying to decide and I saw that you had upgraded. I watched the video and my decision is FINALLY made!!! I don't need to spend thousands of dollars to get everything I need!!! Thank you!!! Thank you!!!! Keep updating us!!!!
Thank you for your instructions & pictures associated with your teaching. I am retired technical writer & this method written 5th grade level is very effective.
I have Embrilliance Essentials and I love it. My Ricoma EM 1010 comes with Chroma and it was not user friendly. Many of the RUclips channels I watch also use Embrilliance. Thank you Jennifer. This was helpful.
Thanks so much for the video. I have been on the fence about buying Embrillance. My quilting shop tried selling me another software. This helped me make a decision. Thanks.
I have a Cricut and Silhouette. I’d love to cut as a SVG for appliqué so I don’t have to cut all the fabric off. Several hand surgeries and thumb fusion doesn’t allow me to use it like a hand should be used. Sooo totally excited about this. Love how you walked us through it.
Thank you for sharing this, I have the free version and hope to graduate to next version and this really helps. Very limited budget and don’t need all the features no desire to be a digitizer either
I enjoyed your video. I especially liked the point you made regarding not being interested in delving in the area of digitizing. I feel the same way at this time. There are so many levels to embroidery which I am learning and loving. At this point, I just want to explore it as much as possible. Thinking about learning how to digitize is overwhelming. However, it is not to say, I am not interested in Embrilliance. Currently, I have the free version and able to manipulate letters, words, names and small sayings. I appreciate that your video has shown that the paid version could give me more options. In regards to future topics, I would like to see how to embroider with different fabrics like leather, suede and velvet (great for Christmas gifts). I work on a lot of ITH projects and would like to use these fabrics for possible gifts.
The instructions are good to print out ESPECIALLY when it’s a PROJECT, eg. a mug rug, or appliqué vs. just a regular design. I put mine in sheet protectors in a binder for easy access.
Thanks for another great video. Wish you were a Mac user; you explain things so clearly. I bought Embrilliance Essentials because it’s compatible with the Mac, but haven’t tried using it. Watching your video has inspired me...I think. Thanks again Jennifer.
Thank you so much for all your Vlogs on Machine Embroidery, just starting out with a New machine. Your information is very good, easy to follow, beginner friendly. Again Thank you! 😎🌴☀️
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your videos, you answered all my questions regarding this software. I went ahead and purchased it after watching your video❣
It's cool too because you buy it and you actually own it vs. all these monthly subscriptions floating around. I have to pay $52 / month for Adobe and am kind of tired of all these recurring expenses. Hope you enjoy Embrilliance!
Thank you so much for this video! I have been considering Essentials and you video has been so helpful/informative! Also, have you tried a magnetic hoop for the pe 800--the Embroidex brand on Amazon, for example?
Thank you Jen, I was looking a the artist stitch 1. I am glad i saw this. I think it will do what i need like adding to a pattern and sizing it. I have just bought a brother project runway it has a 4x4 hoop. I find that when i down load a embroidery pattern even though it says for 4x4 hoop it blocks some of them and says to large for hoop. Brother said they should fit and work as long as they are smaller than 30,000 stitches. Do you think the essentials would work for me?
I'm a little late to this party 🥴 but I had also researched Embrilliance. I do have the free version. What I didn't like about all the tiers was that you had to pay for each tier. You couldn't upgrade from tier to tier. I talked to an Embrilliance sales person because I was confused. I wanted the level you purchased but I really wanted the knock down feature for towels but I would have to purchase both tiers which seems odd. Maybe it has changed by now 🤷♀.
I only have and need Essentials, but Enthusiast is the version that has Knockdown stitches. From what it looks like, Essentials and Enthusiast are two very different products with no overlap in the features, so that's why there's no upgrade option and you would need to get both. The Stitch Artist embroidery design software product does have 3 levels, with multiple options to upgrade. Embrilliance products are more a la carte to only pay for the features you actually want, instead of paying a massive price to get all of the features, even if you only want a select few.
Hi Jen, Thank you for the recent Skitch review. I've been searching for info on Digitizing an image for my Ellegante (Babylock). Years ago my local store was promoting to me their "approved" vendor digitizing product (which was out of my $ range.) Listening to this video, at about 3:19 you mention Inkscape/Inkster and Embrillance. If I use either of those to Create the design, is the free version of Embrillance able to digitize it for me? I'm needing pes/dst file(s) Ive always been intrigued by the idea of Digitizing just haven't had a chance to explore it.
Does Embrilliance have a Mac OS version? I am a designer trying to learn how to digitize embroidery files on a Mac. I got my machine last Summer and still haven’t learned. :/

No I didn't. For me, $40-$45 isn't a price I'd pay to see previews. I have a manageable amount of designs, so I generally do know what they are by file name. Plus, most of the designs I purchased come with a .jpg file showing it.

How do I download from Embrillance Express to my USB? Can you give me step by step instructions?

I love your channel, you Jen explain things very well, much appreciated for your effort
I have a cricut and can't wait to see your next video on cut files!
Thanks so much for the video. I have been on the fence about buying Embrillance. My quilting shop tried selling me another software. This helped me make a decision. Thanks.
I'd recommend downloading the free version first to see if you like the interface without committing to buying anything yet.

Thank you so much for this gr8 tutorial! I’ll be watching it again to see more how you used the design in Cricut Design Space as well 🥰
Thank you so much for all your Vlogs on Machine Embroidery, just starting out with a New machine.
Your information is very good, easy to follow, beginner friendly. Again Thank you! 😎🌴☀️
You did a great job. I learned things I didn't know about this software and I have had it for quite a while
Had no idea you could do an SVG in Essentials and I've had the upgrade for almost two years! You rock!
I just bought and then added Thumbnailer... it's a great add on to see the image in the folder.
Thank you for your values and being honest.
I appreciate that thank you for watching!

Thanks for this video, just a quick question. Can you change the density of the threading?

Recommend you watch my interview with Erich Campbell - he explains a lot about digitizing here: ruclips.net/user/liveUfoP_ya8Q1c?feature=shared
This was really informative, thank you!
I don’t have cricut I have silhouette cameo I’ll have to check how to cut appliqués

The more I use Essentials the more I like it!
Hello. Are any of these compatible with my Mac and Brother SE2000? Thanks

Does Embrilliance have a Mac OS version?
I am a designer trying to learn how to digitize embroidery files on a Mac. I got my machine last Summer and still haven’t learned. :/
Yes, I believe all their options do but I don't use Macs so can't speak to that version.
@@SewingReport alrighty, ty. I never thought using an embroidery machine wld be so complicated.
Yes Embrilliance is one of the few programs that work on a Mac. Really do like it.
I thought the pe800 only used pes files?
Does it support DSt file?
hello i can buy brother sweing embroidery innov is v3se i m litter confused which software i can buy because i m beginner so i will be start small business but i m dont work without software i m visit embrilliance software it will be work in and help me plz give me some advice which is help me
Is this a yearly subscription?
One time payment and you own the software
THANK YOU!!!
How do you incorporate parts from one third party design and add it to another?
I think you can do that but I haven't tried it out yet
It’s easy in essentials. Open both files, copy one and paste in the other. I’ve done it a lot.
Did you purchase Thumbnailer? It will show you the design.
No I didn't. For me, $40-$45 isn't a price I'd pay to see previews. I have a manageable amount of designs, so I generally do know what they are by file name. Plus, most of the designs I purchased come with a .jpg file showing it.
Hello
