seems rather straight forward. if someone has never touched a coyote would you recommend putting the long block together or just having a builder do it? Brett you did a great job explaining the assembly
I know they’re different, but the bellhousing looks similar to a C4. I wonder if there’s anyone who makes one. I’m going to be starting a land speed build soon, hopefully with a coyote. I’m hoping to keep everything all ford. Looking at an ‘05ish mustang for the build.
Great video 2 questions how much a long block like this cost from y'all? How many of these have u put together cause u made that look 2 easy keep shining like the Kings y'all are🙌
very good vidio but what i dont understand is on my engine i have a bracket on top of the cams.and i noticed that you didnt use on.i always thought that it was some type of reinforcement bracket like a stud girdle.an i wrong about what this is used for
I rebuilt mine the same, but used arp hardware for everything because why not. Why didn't you change the secondary chain tensioner slides to metal? And why no billet timing chain slides? Unnecessary?
Who is this goober. Sounds like he's reading off a paper and I can tell by the way he tightens everything he has no idea what he's doing. Where is Jay?
I'm right here, that's Brett. He's anything but a goober. He's been a really big help here and gives me more time to play. I assure you he's more than competent. He was a top ten in the USA AMG tech before joining us, I'd put him up against the best and bet on him coming out on top! Being on camera isn't comfortable for everyone. Look at my early videos, i was like a deer in headlights! Thanks
Man I bet it feels like Christmas morning to you.. that's a big deal in our world stepping up the 5.0 game big time

Dropping this into my mustang this week! Excited 😈
How does it drive?
So smooth love it
I really like the slot gaskets that they use now a days. The cork gaskets back in the day were such a pain.
GREAT VIDEO!!!If I need a long block, I will get it from these guys!!! Bob H., Flat Rock, N.C.
So strange that the head studs get backed off 1 turn, but if anyone knows what they're doing it's you guys. thanks for the video
Awesome video..Brett is a good guy.he knows them coyotes.ford power 💪
Great info !! I’ve replaced some timing components on my gen 2 and could’ve used this video back then 🙏🏽

Aluminator would be a better option for less money.
Great video Ford power forever baby
I clicked on this, because I thought it said "FREE" Stage 3 Ford 5.0L. I guess it's time to get some new glasses...ha ha ha
Same here, like it was clickbait lol
I need one of those !
Thanks for the informative vid, Brett. 💯

Very nice.
Interesting and informative 🇯🇲
can i just slap this short block in my gen 3 mustang and call it a day or do i have to get a long block too?
Great video 2 questions how much a long block like this cost from y'all? How many of these have u put together cause u made that look 2 easy keep shining like the Kings y'all are🙌
How hot should you get the balancer for installation?
Snot Rocket #1 😎
When you put on the oilpump should't there be any sealing between the oilpump and block??
I assume it's the main oilgalleri ?
Great video so informative & educational
Good Video💯
What do you guys think about the plastic oil pan?
It’s a locking flywheel tool used/ need to torque damper to spec ? Thanks !

does this engine need lock tight on the treads?
Do you guys use OEM cs gear as well as the chain?
I noticed no copper head gasket and no o-ring on this one?
Does that lift plate come off and another added to place in engine bay or is same one used?
What chain guides did you use? Factory?
Brett what HP number will the bl9ck hamdle without The Resleeve? Ty
have you done a gen 3 build
No fire hoops?

Thaddeus Spring
What you got there, Brett? Just a 302? :)
but you always have to open it to inspect it otherwise the they might not cover the damages under warranty later on if there's a problem.
Can a gen 3 short block be used to replace a gen 1 motor
Yes, just use your gen 1 heads and timing components.
MMR makes an upgraded timing chain. Do they have issues?
They only make secondary chains which we do recommend upgrading while doing any work with the timing system.
Who assembles a short block without oiling up the cylinder walls?
How come you guys use head studs on this motor but the stage 4 5.2 L GT500 block that you have in your green Mustang you guys use regular head bolts

I may pay someone to do the oil pump gears in my car instead.
Have you heard “j!zz in my pants” by Lonely Island? Yeah well that’s what’s happening while I’m watching this video.

Yeah, just the owner/driver of the fastest Coyote street car in the world assembling this engine... 🙄
Please see sick week. Goober hurt a lot of feelings and I say that as a GM guy.
