In reruns of this episode, a dedication to Judith Barsi was shown during the closing credits. Judith, who played 4 year old Carol in the episode, was 10 when she was murdered by her scumbag of a father several months after this episode first aired.
@Rose Singh plus Andrew Koenig aka Boner and the young actress whom portrays Carol in this episode whom was murdered by her father. I think her name was Judith Barsi. Not to mention B.J. Thomas whom sings this song as well as the Growing Pains theme. May they rest in peace. 👼😢💗🙏
Why was Mr. Dewitt trying to prevent Mike from graduating? I thought he would be happy to get rid of him. Also, Carol seems really happy for someone who owes her brother fifty bucks.
Mike would have graduated regardless. Mr. Dewitt was just trying to ruin graduation for him because he didn’t like him. And even though Mike and Carol fought with and teased each other, at the end of the day they had each other’s backs. Like when Mike told Carol she was pretty enough without that nose job. And when Carol stuffed the ballot box so Mike would win the election as student body President, when everyone thought he was a sure loser.
I love this song on growing pains the graduation song was part of me when I was 21 I graduated from school on June 15 2009.
And I was videotape recorded last summer on June 2008 when I was a last of school I was staying home.

And to think that Carol was the brains of the family.

This was the 80's, people. Back then, a high school diploma was enough to get a decent job.

He know deep inside. Mike was his favorite
Probably cause she thought he'd leave for college instead of staying hone and driving her crazy.
He's just glad Carol didn't skip like she was going to so they would've both graduated that day.
@1:14 you can see the guy filming from his television.
I hope something nice was done for Carol. I hope the child actress that played young Carol got a loving tribute.
I think it was after this season or next Kirk Cameron found god and the show was never the same again
Maggie was already very pregnant with Chrissy here. How weird that her oldest was graduating high school and she was about to have another child. 😏
My mom was in the same situation, the youngest of her 3 brothers was born the month after she graduated.
When Mike was getting his diploma that guy had no right to step on the diploma like that
AnnMarie Caldwell
Allow me to kindly barf in my mouth.
The cheesy gay music.
