    Those prices shown on the 2 bags is that the price per individual plate perhaps rather than the contents of each bag?

      I just had to watch it back to see what you were talking about 😃
      Yeah I guess so. It was £170 to £190 in total from KTM Oxford.

      Thank you that's great as I thought we might've been being somewhat reamed down in the southern hemisphere if those numbers were true, unlikely though it seemed! Keep up the good work ;)

      @@Youchoob1 turns out we all are. 😃 There are cheaper options but when I needed one they only clutch within 200miles was at a KTM main dealer. I think was an APICO kit on eBay for half the price but it was 3weeks shipping.
      And you too mate.

    • @Youchoob1
      @Youchoob1 Год назад +1

      Mine was more of a dragging issue than a slipping unit so I've purchased a set of Wiseco steel plates for around half the OE price.

    Are the clutch settings only on ktm? Since i blew a fork seal on my WR i will probably do a clutch inspection while it is down and see if Yamaha has the same settings. That is a pretty dang cool option KTM has added.

      @dynamotightstar3472  3 года назад +1

      I actually have no idea if it's a KTM/Husky exclusive mate but you're right, it's a really option. It's so light now and precise.
      Yeah, may as well get as many jobs done at the time for sure. Could you do my oil and filter whilst you're at it, I really can't be asked! 🤣

      It's a 2013 too. It's a piece of job mate. I'm no mechanic. Took longer because of the video making but other wise it's a 15minute job.

      @@dynamotightstar3472 wow. Parts in Canada around 300$. I’m sure dealer will charge me 600-1000$. So best to replace all plates and those rubber dampeners I assume ? Does this have those rubber dampeners ? They say it’s good to change it.

    • @dynamotightstar3472
      @dynamotightstar3472  2 года назад

      That's about the same if not a bit less than here. I paid £190 I think.
      Change whatever I changed in the video and see how it goes. I changed the setting to No1 and it's super light now too which is nice.

      @@dynamotightstar3472 light as in? Curious about these settings. 2 is standard. Seems that the washer needs to be 100% flat within .004in.

    • @dynamotightstar3472
      @dynamotightstar3472  2 года назад

      Light weight. It's a very easy 1 finger pull with it in position 1. Standard, 2, isn't exactly heavy but it's nowhere near as light as 1. One is good for precise control.
