He used a glitch where he hits the turret when it's still building from level 0 to 1, making it jump to level 2. He does this by taking note of the turret upgrade level and hammering at the right time, with only ~0.5 seconds of space to do this glitch effectively. *tl;dr* _glitches and skills_
