    On my next moror i am not having any bearings just holes drilled in wood

    I may try this. I like the detail you put into it. Not real fast or leaving things out. Have a great day and hope your knee problem goes away soon.

    Nice troy can't wait to see it together and working

    You could try drilling on the heavy side too.

    Hey, man. great work! I'm very curious and hope to follow your steps ...

    troy first, love your stuff.
    the inside sleeve should not spin. the tape will melt and cause resistance. that is why you have bearings. only the bearings should spin.

      Thank you.Well, the way I see things, it cant hurt since the inside is not supposed to spin at all. Less friction. The bearings are quite loose and free anyway. I just cant see the harm in it.

      do you have the parts to build one?

      I'm still waiting on magnets. I'm using a blocking oscillator (Joule thief) for the circuitry. Still experimenting with different toroid coils. Trim Capacitors (Variable capacitors) and variable resistors have been helpful in tuning the circuit.
      I'm using an old mountain bike wheel at present. I'm looking for a lighter wheel. All parts have been reclaimed except for the aluminum tape I used to balance the wheel.

      Cool. Try to make your first build exactly according to the specs though if you can. The closer the better so we are all tracking on the same page. You can often get the magnets at the dollar store. I found many of them there through the years. The exact same ones 2/$1

      Yes, I'm getting ahead of myself :) The magnets came in today (hooray) I have every intention on replicating your build as closely as I am able. I'm really looking forward to this :) Thanks again Troy.
      On a side note ... Have we had enough rain? lol Peace :)
      I hope all is well :)

    Troy how big is the wheel

    Why are we using the weaker ceramic magnets on this build Troy? Can we use neodymium magnets if we choose?

    • @thedoityourselfworldelectr8007
      @thedoityourselfworldelectr8007  7 лет назад +1

      NO!! Not for the first build of a Bedini Simplified School Girl motor.
      Its not the magnets that do the work. All they are used for is to generate a TINY little bit of current in the trigger coil. Then the power coil repels the magnet further.
      Stronger magnets will require more current to overcome and reduce net gains in the system.

      @thedoityourselfworldelectr8007  7 лет назад +1

      A stronger magnet will induce a larger current, turning on the power transistor longer, using more power from the run battery.

    What about the steel spokes ? They terminate on the inside of the rim near where the magnets are mounted.

    Hey Troy. I was really into custom building my bike when i was a teenager.
    You can " True " your wheel pretty easily with a spoke wrench. You need to find where the wobble is
    This is best don with the wheel in a special wheel truing jig. Of course I never had one of those so I turned
    bike upside down and set it on handlebars and the seat. I move one side if brake caliper over to see where
    the out of true part of wheel is because it will rub there.
    Use your spoke wrench then to tighten the wheel from one sode to pull rim over to center.
    You also want to lightly loosen the two spokes pulling from opposite side. Go slow and make
    small adjustments.
    Or........just take the wheel to a bike shop. Haha.
    PS Troy.
    I got my approval email from Steemit a few days ago after waiting a week.
    But I screwed up. The final part of the account creation process is to clik link
    in the email and enter the computer generated and VERY LONG!!!!!!! password.
    I did not write down this long password because I thought it was saved by my browser.
    When I went to log on finally to steemit it asked for the password.
    IN their FAQ they say they can not recover a lost PW. However I did find something
    to clik if i lost my PW. I clicked and i am waiting to hear back from them.
    I have a feeling if i try to create a new acct they will know I have an existing account because you have to use
    your email and your phone to verify your identity.
    I did go and clik on many of your videos from the other alternate site you posted.

    paramagnetism
    Also found in: Thesaurus, Medical, Legal, Encyclopedia, Wikipedia.
    Related to paramagnetism: ferromagnetism, ferrimagnetism, diamagnetism
    par·a·mag·net·ic (păr′ə-măg-nĕt′ĭk)
    adj.
    Relating to or being a substance in which an induced magnetic field is parallel and proportional to the intensity of the magnetizing field but is much weaker than in ferromagnetic materials.
    It appears that aluminum is paramagnetic :) I hope that is helpful in our continued research and discovery :) Thanks again for this awesome video :)

    What is radiant energy?

    • @thedoityourselfworldelectr8007
      @thedoityourselfworldelectr8007  7 лет назад

      Basically energy that is all around us. The Earth is being bombarded by energy all the time. You can tap into that and use it.

    I would like to use the lawn mower wheels a lot smaller more compact which is what I like but anyways you can use balance weights the ones they use for car rims the ones they use for the fancy rims you just glue them on they have a back and it has glue on it to me it will be a much more simple solution

    Wow! I know I'm not Troy. See Icetecker's comment. I'm U.S. Air Force retired. Troy is not. I live in Indiana. Troy does not. Do I have to go on? Sorry for the distraction folks ... sheesh!
