Can’t wait to receive my order. Fell in love after my first five minutes of driving first time in a Tesla. I’ve been waiting for the right model to come along. This is it! Great drive and just out of this world. My wife is not a fan but hey, we already have a family car. She likens this Tesla as “a house with no furniture “ 😂. Thanks for this fabulous post friend.
I'm sorry having no HUD or gauge clusters in 2024 is insane to me. Having to look down and too ur right for everything would get annoying. Not to mention be more distracting when driving.
100% I also personally prefer a HUD even if its just a small one that displays all the essentials. Gear selector on screen also caught me off guard a couple of times haha
Just like every other part of the car that goes against legacy car design: you get used to it. You can install a HUD yourself. Don't expect Tesla to do it unless you're looking at a Model S or X.

You won’t be disappointed! Its a thorough update on an already great platform. I reckon it’ll grow on your wife too! Enjoy the new car my friend.
You do get use it. The biggest one for me the the indicators in the steering wheel.
Yeah its all muscle memory after a while. On that first drive though… hahaha
Sorry for asking I know this is private but can I ask what is the insurance for you on the Tesla
does it feel fast?
I’d say adequate, not head in the seat fast but plenty of power for everyday driving 😊
Why don’t they just put a small display to show the speed & indicator direction on the small bar on the dash infront of the steering? SMH 🤦🏻♂️ Tesla
Somethings we’ll never understand 😅
Because it is completely unecessary.

After 10 month with the model Y I disagree: after 2 days you don‘t miss any additional instruments. They are more of a distraction!
None of that is necessary.
Apology accepted.
