  • What's good, everyone?! Today's video features a look at an abandoned Andolini's Pizza Restaurant in the West Ashley area of Charleston, SC. This location was locally owned and operated to my knowledge. It served its community for over 30 years. I ate here once a few years ago, and from what I remember, the food was very good. However, like many other businesses that weren't backed by a healthy financial parent, it was negatively affected during and after the lockdown period ended. It closed permanently in December 2022. The other Andolini's location that was near Folly Beach, SC also closed permanently, along with their 4 other locations in North Charleston, Mount Pleasant, James Island, and downtown Charleston that had closed periodically over the years. It is sad to see locally run businesses fade away, but it is a reality that is becoming all too familiar. This building has since been rebadged as "The Ashley Landing," which is a venue/club kind of establishment.
I hope you all enjoyed my visit of this abandoned Andolini's Pizza Restaurant in Charleston, SC.

The Groucho’s Deli sticker in the back probably came from their former restaurant down the street (now Wings & Hibachi R Us) which was originally a Taco Bell and then a Scholtzsky’s.

Oh, okay, I was thinking maybe they may open inside of this former restaurant, but it has since been rebranded into "The Ashley Landing."
I didn't know that Wings and Hibachi was formerly a Schlotzsky's and Taco Bell. Interesting history. Thank you very much!

Great video! That poor HomeGoods cart! Not sure what is going on with that building. It was sold a year ago to the owner of Senor Tequila Mexican Restaurant and he announced plans to renovate the building and open Villa Cantina Cocktail & Lounge. That building was originally built by a local businesswoman and operated as an Asian buffet known as Tasty Wok, thus the Asian inspired roofline shape over the front door.

Thank you very much for your support! Yeah, that HomeGoods cart was pretty roughed up, Lol.
Hmm, the plans for this building are interesting. I wondered why the design was the way it is, so it's interesting to know what it was originally built as. Thank you for that information. I have passed this building several times since I filmed and released this video. It seems to have been re-badged as "The Ashley Landing," and appears to be some venue or club kind of establishment. At least it won't sit abandoned for too much longer.
