Hi again my so dear coin Geek, you know that thanks to you I love so much this hobbie and your cheerfull tips. You are my hero ,my great pal on this. Thanks for be a so appreciate man to me🥰👍❤
Just found out that the 1891cc that I submitted to NGC turned out to be a VAM 3 the spitting eagle. Hoping for a good grade. Thanks for all your videos.
I won an auction on Facebook group and it was 5 Morgans including a 21 which was the best one out of the 5 for 160$. But the really nice lady gave me a extra 21d and it was even nicer than the rest. !!! And that's when I first heard about VAMs. I sold the other ones and got a bit more than I gave so I still have the 21's. Can't find any in VAM world that match. Probably gonna send to PCGS and get em slabbed.
vams are an area that you can definitely spend a lot of time on for sure. I haven’t got into them much although I own quite a few graded examples. Whenever people discuss vams I always learn a lot. Northern Nevada coin is great and I’ve won some coins from them on eBay
I found one of my soft pack gsa's to be the 1880 o hangnail variety. It's probably AU55. I need to get it graded/recognized in the gsa soft pack as the variety. I have never seen another in the soft pack . I'm guessing that it is pretty rare.
I have an 1891-O Clashed BERT in AU55, such a fun coin identifying all the clash marks. It's really difficult to value, there don't seem to be any in the market uncirculated.
Good topic . I have decent luck finding varieties,I got that rotated reverse 1875 s 20 c. from you last month , it is actually 1875 s/s mpd f.s. 302.with 90° counterclockwise rotated reverse! Best first 20 cent piece I could ever want . vams are no exception either. 1883 o has that clashed "E" too. If I can bolster some sales I want to keep getting stuff as I have started doing. That 4 pack of washington quarters for instance. Does OPC have other copper store cards than the 1794 restrike? ( Which is beautiful) I have an 1878 7tf with a star missing the ray facing the bust. I have not seen it before. Also while I sold one already,I got two 1883 s in xf with unlisted vams. I am unsure how to submit anything to Vamworld however.
Nice coins. Very Interesting video.
Thx for a great video and informative article enjoyed 👍 it
Great video

The multitude of VAMs is one of the reasons it's always interesting to be a Morgan collector. Thanks for sharing those!
pretty cool sir - thanks for being so educational!
I have several VAMs, as I think they add to the history of the Morgan dollars. Love the broken planchet!
I have 2 1891 o E rev. Cool VAM!
That books seems pretty useful... except we did get to see your excellent art skills in action to point out the details you were talking about.
Always good video's! Thanks Ben!

Great info. Thanks for sharing and showing
I always avoided VAM’s because I wasn’t familiar with them. This video was a great synopsis. Thank you!
More VAM's please sir :)
Years ago I used cherry pick circulated examples of the 79s rev of 78 all the time.
Don't really find them much anymore
PCGS Deatils "warewolf damage"

It is interesting that the 7 & 8 tail feathers, its because the obv. die was the same

It’s really a neat variety- those letters POP out
To me, VAM collectors always seem kinda like hoarders. They find an excuse to keep every coin.

That die clash E has been cleaned
It was common years ago
almost have the entire e clashers done.
Nice vam! I need to get the 1921 variety you got here. Are you putting it on your website for sale?
Check the video notes- if it’s for sale , either website or eBay, there will be a link there.
Would NGC grade the last coin and give it the error designation?
Great video
