Elder Eric Walsh says in one of his lectures he read a book about a guy who came out of the occult. At one of their “services” the “ priest” was speaking about how exalted Satan is with the world denying sabbath and creation and the flood and someone asked him “what about the SDA’s?” His reply was he laughed and said they’re so small I forget about them. But don’t worry about them they can not be deceived because they hold true to Gods seventh day sabbath! “ These aren’t my words , this is someone’s testimony of coming out the occult practice. I found it a blessing. Jesus kept it with his disciples until he died but when he arose from the dead and later appeared to his disciples on the day of Pentecost,they received a new understanding of the sabbath and started keeping Sunday as the day of worship.

If someone could help me with the issue of "Babylon": Some ministries like SDA and many Protestant denomination says it's the Roman Empire, the Vatican and the Catholic Church, who changed "time",, and I agree with this. Babylon mystery religion is the catholic church religion. All one has to do is ask God. He will reveal it. They are a mirror image of Babylon religion. They just changed the names of their gods to saints. Same false gods. Study Babylon religion then go into a catholic church and u will find it..rosary beads and all. I don’t think it’s revealed exactly who Babylon is. It does make you think it could be Vatican bc of the purple/red, the jewels & golden cups etc. However, in Rev 17 it talks abt Babylon & tells us abt the beast from the bottomless pit, the 8th but of the 7, & tells us abt the ‘Great City’, & tells us who the woman aka the Harlot or whore is. So in one of the last chptrs, Rev 19-21 or so, it also talks abt Babylon. It says the woman is that ‘Great City’. When you put them all together, including Old Testament verses of that Great City, imo, Babylon is Jerusalem = that ‘Great City’ = where prophets & saints killed, where the beast kills the 2 witnesses, who ruled nations (politically, economically &/or culturally/religiously) - to me meaning it all STARTED there - possibly from the captivity of Israel by Babylon /Nebekunezzar (sp?) where they mixed all these things (Babylon & Israel) plus mixed religious & continued w/same systems once they returned to Jerusalem & everything spread from there - certainly we can see at the Tower of Babel the first mankind attempt at World Govt & the desire to reach the throne of God, just as Lucifer tried to do in heaven & he’s clearly directing man/kings thru the 7 heads = Empires = Egyptian Assyrian Babylon Medes/Persian Greeks Rome & yet to come = whats happening now. 5 fallen = Egyptian thru Greeks; one is = 6th, Rome of John’s day, & 7th which is the one world from the West we assume, bc we can see it happening - the globalists/cabal. So, if it wasn't the Catholic/Orthodox church, guided by the Holy Spirit, that compiled the 27 books of the NT in the 5th century, just 75 years AFTER the council of Nicaea which began the Trinitarian doctrine and subsequent councils of Ephesus and Chalcedon, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and preserved these scriptures by laboriously hand copying them over and over throughout the centuries before the invention of the printing press, the “rule of faith” for many, please tell us, show us, who did? And if this church no longer exists today, what good is the text which came forth from her if she couldn't sustain herself?

Copying down text doesn't require being lead by the holy spirit. It only requires penmanship and time. Not saying that the early church wasn't guided by faith but obviously the the church has change as well as the people, who make up the body of the church,over time. Jesus was from the tribe of Judah, not Benjamin. But you have a point. I believe God works with individuals and doesn’t lump people groups together for salvation and destruction. The Jewish leaders of Jesus time rejected their own Messiah, so the message went to the Gentiles. Yet God still saves sincere Jews. After all, the first Christians were Jews.
Dude, what are you talking about concerning the 144,000? If you do not know that these are already in heaven and will be preaching the gospel during the great Tribulation then you are seriously lacking in your understanding and probably shouldn't be teaching at all.
According to Sister White, the False Prophet will be the SDA church after she is vomited out from the mouth of JESUS. We have more to fear from within than from without, she also wrote. This is also what the Bible says: The SDA church do not know the final revelation because they would betray the 144000. Isa 48 is well worth your study.
I really pity the SDA. How ashamed will they be when Christ will be coming for God's church. They are only proud of saying they are the remnants and always speak ill of the Catholics who is just their mother. They only exonerate themselves from the mother just because of Saturday but the truth is she is their mother. The SDA know their truth through their canal knowledge without the spirit of God.
I humbly suggest you study your Bible and always pray first for the guidance of the Holy Spirit. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. John16:13.

I don't believe the 'investigative judgment' and kosher practices are something I would agree with though, and this is the reason more bible based Christians are not going to 'church', many 'branches' have something they add in to separate themselves from the others, then profess to be the only true way.

History shows us that Jesus didn't leave us a bible, the apostles didn't tell us which books belong in the bible, the church fathers never agreed on the 27 books of the NT through the 4th century, not only did they not agree but their list of would-be NT canons were GROWING during this time. So, if it wasn't the Catholic/Orthodox church, guided by the Holy Spirit, that compiled the 27 books of the NT in the 5th century, just 75 years AFTER the council of Nicaea which began the Trinitarian doctrine and subsequent councils of Ephesus and Chalcedon, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and preserved these scriptures by laboriously hand copying them over and over throughout the centuries before the invention of the printing press, the “rule of faith” for many, please tell us, show us, who did? And if this church no longer exists today, what good is the text which came forth from her if she couldn't sustain herself?

Copying down text doesn't require being lead by the holy spirit. It only requires penmanship and time. Not saying that the early church wasn't guided by faith but obviously the the church has change as well as the people, who make up the body of the church,over time. Christ is the only one who is the same yesterday today and forever. That's why he's the cornerstone of the foundation.

@@srich7503 If and individual believes that God isn't capable of preserving his word throughout all of time, (because he is the word), (meaning the necessary information to an individuals salvation and not the other additional writings which may or may not be beneficial in an individuals walk in faith) then I guess the question would fall upon the integrity and trustworthiness of the churchs ability to decernce the writings of which are to be included and therefor worthy of copying the text.. But back to the point of I dont have to trust the church bodies of today nor of the past to be able to trust God has protected the path for salvation throughout time and the ability to learn about Jesus's sacrifice and how to accept his gift of grace. Jesus was from the tribe of Judah, not Benjamin. But you have a point. I believe God works with individuals and doesn’t lump people groups together for salvation and destruction. The Jewish leaders of Jesus time rejected their own Messiah, so the message went to the Gentiles. Yet God still saves sincere Jews. After all, the first Christians were Jews.

I really pity the SDA. How ashamed will they be when Christ will be coming for God's church.
