Great video! Had a quick question that sort of relates to this. I'm a Maschine/Live user, generally using Maschine as a plugin. Using the drag-and-drop feature when exporting audio from Maschine, Live's Warp Analysis always changes the new clip's BPM to something different than what the initial host BPM is. For example, Live's BPM is 120 and Maschine is slaving to that. When I bring in say just a Hi Hat track, the analysis changes the BPM to like either half the number or something random. This isn't a big deal to change if it's just a few clips being imported but I tend to import 20+ tracks individually, creating new clips and tracks for each. It becomes pretty cumbersome to always go through each clip and change the BPM back to the host. I know I can turn off Warp mode and it'll keep the audio file intact but many times, I'll need to do some Warping or change the tempo so I inevitably have to reapply the Warp Mode. Have you guys any advice on how to work around that? Thank you for these GREAT videos too by the way!
thanks for the video! my question is: so if you have completed your arrangement in M-2, you route pads / sounds / that you want to automate only into Live? I am still a bit confused about how to finish final mix down from Maschine-2 - you then record your audio into Live? with some automated stuff? or you also have some midi exported to Live too? thanks!
Does anyone know why I can't get logic 9 to record my sounds/midi etc? After watching countless video tutorials Ive only been able to get logic to show my individual sounds playing in each aux channel but it never records into the daw. I also can't get logic to play anything that is drag and drop. I feel like I'm missing something so any help is appreciated. And yes, I'm new to all this .....
You guys always give Logic Pro secondary treatment. You have to give it it's own videos. The little bit in this video makes 0 sense because you barely talk about it.
The automation instructions are immensely helpful. Thank you!

nice - it would be good if there could be a video purely on studio shortcuts.
good idea! :)
Native Instruments is a European company, they do pronounce it maschina. Doesn't make it incorrect. Kind of like how English people say jaguar.
cool tune to a good tut!
Good Stuff!
How is your music coming along? Are you still making beats?
