Most cash registers have a button, switch on the bottom at the back. It’s there in case the drawer jams and that’s not like the jam we see Mike do at the scrap yard! 🤣😂

Mike gets me motivated to fill up my truck to turn in my scrap. It takes me a little longer because I break down everything to maximize my return. I have several 100 pounds of aluminum to turn in... Probably a whole truck load of just that!
I found a double drawer clover pos system with 2 cash drawers in a curbside find. One drawer had 68.00 and the other 77.00 in change and bills . Crazy stuff learned it all from Mike the Scavenger!!!!

There might be a button under the cash register to release the drawer. It will be towards the back. Great finds tonight
Most cash registers have a emergency release button on the back of the register or underneath them

Those stackable metal stools are over $100 each new & very sellable. Same with that black metal chair! The cash register will have a hole in the bottom to pop the drawer open after you unlock it. Definitely some cool finds tonight!!

mike, make sure to check the bottom of the cash register, there is usually a long hole in the bottom with a release lever for the cash drawer.

Take your magnet apart and add some more magnets to each side, glue them in. You'll be amazed by how much better it will work.

Nice haul Mike congrats a litte cash register tip If you cant unlock the cash register most cash registers will have a manual release switch for the cash drawer its on the bottome of the cash register towards the back it should pop the drawer open working as a cashier in the past has taught me a few tricks including geting to the money tray diuring a power outage.
Onkyo AV Receiver is a 600$ Unit,, looks like it's in excellent shape.Those aluminum stools go for 120$ a piece. Great finds.
The cash register drawer should have a release lever on the bottom. Becareful when trying to open the drawer it can pinch.

Those metal stools are great - yard sale material! Your style of scavenging brings back memories of me digging in stuff at the curb, about 20 or 30 years ago! Ain't much of that happening at 79, though!

The thermalake is a fancy computer case. Instead of computer components being inside a case, this case exposes all the internals, making for a visually attractive computer.

Wow nice stackable garage stools. Those are probably under $100 each new. I've been looking for a few for my garage and couldn't decide to get them or ones with a back on them. I might just build a wooden bench for people to sit down on. That's the beauty of your video's. Everything is unique and we never know what you will find but it is like riding along with you each time. Thanks for the video!!

I HEAR $ bills the 1st & 3rd of every month. Ching! I’ve got 3 tv’s to strip, down till there’s nothing left but plastic. Since I work from my small apartment this can be a daunting task sometimes. Thank You Mr. Do It All. 🐎🌻✌️

I had a cash register once and it had a latch under the bottom that opened the drawer.
The black "thermaltake" item is an open chasis computer "case" possibly with a thermaltake power supply mounted in it.
It seems like these videos last about 5 minutes, you are so fun to watch ☺️ hope you have a great thanksgiving 🦃

Industrial bar stools were close to $28.00 EACH at Menards a couple years back...easy 10-15 each if you put them in your garage sales.

That Thermaltake is a open chassis computer case. Testers use them for easy changing of parts. At least I think it's what I see them using. lol

Hey Mike that one side with the bottom on it is a computer tower there might be a piece of plexiglass that should have went on the front but it can still be used as a open Tower

I found 1 time 5 $20 dollar bills safty pinned together in a ceramic 1950's lipstick holder the bills were stamped 1977 and older and I have found money in the pockets of clothing and in old pursues and a loose diamond in a purse I got $100 for THAT from a pawn shop and I have found lots of 14K gold jewelry and silver coins and sterling stuff! I really hit some jackpots in my day!
Chances are if you plug the cash register in you will be able to open the drawer without having to break into it and if it works ok sell it.👍💚💛❤️
There is a little hole underneath,at the back of the cash drawer. No need for a key . You just need to push a little piece to the side. And it will open. Enjoy

Almost electric registers, there is a round hole where you can push a pencil in and pop the drawer open where the receipts come out lift that lid look on the back side inside and you will find the miracle hole.
That is an open air PC case. You see a lot of tech guys use those. Just as pricey as a full case. Good find.

Watch your Head
check behind the cash drawer(where the circuit boards are) for the paper bills. I have found cash in 4 out of 5 cash drawers for over 100 bucks.
