If this was in the US, the police would have arrested the Chinese for disorderly conduct and possibly resisting arrest, plus any further charges. The Chinese need to learn something. Their laws don't apply outside their country. They are out of jurisdiction.
This entire encounter was just outright ridiculous on countless levels. Besides the predictably absurd & immature behaviour by our red flag waving friends, it was the officers conduct that was of most concern.
BS! The ridiculousness came from the British side. Situation was perfectly clear...the Chinese lauded his playing but tried to explain that they were under contract with a Chinese television channel re their visibility and asked politely for the pianist not to show their faces online. Rather than say "no problem, I will blur or edit you out" the idiotic pianist started to pretend this was a "free speech"issue, insulting the Chinese by suggesting they were trying to tell him what to do and called the national flag of China a "communist flag"incorrectly as the communist flag of China is a red flag with in yellow not the stars but the hammer and sickle. No passer-by complain to the police about public disorder .
