Giving guys like these jobs in security gives them a sense of power over us. It won’t end well. They literally tried to stop him playing because they don’t like music. Hope the real police keep them under control.
you don't know that. No need to make up a facetious story. They wanted to move it back to the original location -- inches from where it is. That's a good enough story -- and it's true.

Working as a security guard I have to point out that this is a big problem in the security industry. Non-English people working security who do not understand English law or English people and customs. I have faced similar problems working as a doorman. Certain ethnic doormen commenting and insulting young girls/women for dressing a certain way whilst enjoying a night out in an English club IN ENGLAND! I am all for immigration (my wife is a Jamaican immigrant) but you have to respect the people and the customs of the country that has kindly adopted you and given you a living and a better life than you had before. Do not impose your own opinions and beliefs. If you want people to live in this country like they did in your country then why did you leave your country in the first place to live here?
OK that actually makes sense though if they don’t understand what’s going on, and that that piano is placed there in public to be played on, they might think it’s not meant to be touched, which would explain their behavior
@@KCCNYwhitewater I think from the use of the word mall you are maybe American. LOL, 4 security guards standing around getting paid to be abusive? File a Charge and Claim. You have been assaulted that is not OK. Thank Goodness for people like Ella. God keep you both Blessed putting smiles on peoples faces and making them laugh should not be a crime.
Whilst I do not share a love for the kind of music you play, you obviously bring enjoyment to a lot of people. As a long-retired Police Officer, I was disgusted with the way the Security staff dealt with you - but I was delighted by the attitude of that young female Police Officer. There are ways and means of dealing with situations such as this. Having Security ‘officers’ try to trap your hands under the lid of the piano is not one of them. Well done for keeping calm and keeping a smile on your face. Good luck, Sir.
So why was she assisting "security" to get Brendan to capitulate to their bullying unlawful stupid demands for him to face the other way, instead of telling them to stop intimidating him?
JUST shows how wrong those guys were. Full on congratulations to our police officer for showing how to control a situation WELL DONE ONE AND ALL. you could have had that security person for assault.
if she would control the situation she wold just let him keep playing on the same place without any change...the position that he end up he could not see the people that was around to hear...but...well i like how the "typical English" security guards look like belong to some gang LOL

Brilliant Playing ....The lady officer is also played well and she gave the massage to the guards that playing a Piano or any other instruments ain't a crime .....
When asked why the piano had to be turned around the goon said they didn't know, they didn't ask why, their job is to just follow orders. The public responded by saying they should question orders. This real time interaction is all the evidence anyone needs to understand why the world has been in a ubiquitous state of pain and suffering throughout all human history. The problem isn't with those giving orders but with those mindlessly follow them.
@@MsDanaldo the point is, they obviously didn't know or care about legalities. But my point goe deeper, highlighting the order follower mentality. How many cops are fired or jailed for not knowing or caring about the law. It's about violation of conscience. This man wasn't harming anyone, but was creating tremendous joy and they almost broke his hands. Research the milligram experiments, jury nullification, and the Nuremberg trials to understand the heart of the matter. Bottom line, don't harm others if they're not harming you, regardless of your orders.
Unblievable! What do those security goons think that the piano has been placed there if not to be played. hats off to you Brendan and a big hug for the lovely police lady.
Big thumbs up to you man! It’s crazy how so many security guards in our country are unaware of the law. Playing music in public isn’t a crime, especially when the piano is there and free for anyone to play 😂 But I know how it feels as I’ve had security guards at stations and in shopping malls tell me off for recording bits for vlogs. But when I explain to them that it clearly states in Section 33 Criminal Justice Act 1972 that you can legally take photos and videos in publicly accessible places and that they need to have a “no photography” sign if it’s a policy, they never listen 🙈 But yeah, big thumbs up to you man and also credit to the police in this video 😂
So strange how EVERYONE apart from the security officers know that it doesn't matter which way the piano is facing. And well done Brendan for standing up to the guy being disrespectful with his scarf wrapped over his face.
That policewoman was a sweetheart. They got the call, she saw the security stepping overboard and came in for fast, peaceful resolution and participated as well. That's how civil servants should act.
It really is a shame how some people think everyone should walk around with their head down and be quiet. Instead of worrying about serious issues they bother people for nothing.

Why are all these "station security" "officers" barely able to speak English? I think these people are worse than untrained, they're actually fundamentally opposed to our values.
And if someone ends up suing the Station from injury, you will guarantee be the first ones to help the legal fees because security let anyone move the piano as they pleased?

Hands off to the good ladies that stood against the oppressive force, hands off to that policewoman who joined in. True in general, but please note the young Muslim couple standing close to the two English ladies on the left side of the player: they are clearly enjoying the music, the young woman is moving a bit and smiling.
I will answer this, Network Rail is a private land so they have their own in house security which do not require SIA licences. Network Rail do employee external officers that do have SIA licences for events or if it’s a situational thing such as silly season (Xmas) football events etc… even to step in for staff that are on sick or leave. I worked for SES snd Network Rail myself on both Manchester Piccadilly and Liverpool Lime Street.
@@SmithicusMedia Yep. “You do not usually need an SIA licence if you will be working ‘in-house’. This is when you are employed directly by the company that uses your services - for example, your employer is a supermarket chain and you work as a security guard in one of their shops. There are 2 licensable activities where you must have an SIA licence whether you work in-house or as part of a contract for services. These are: * door supervision at a licensed premises * vehicle immobilising - this only applies in Northern Ireland”
I can not believe the level of absurdity that the security goons rose to simply because the piano was turned literally 180 degrees. They assaulted Dr K by pulling the key cover down on his hands and fingers! WTF!! Then, when you see what they were concerned about, you are left thinking that it couldn't possibly be serious. Funnier still was they ended up placing the piano further into the traffic flow of shoppers. Every one of them were complete morons!

No Security observe report and intervene when necessary, this is absolutely unnecessary and gives security a bad look even on a subpar level. I can understand if it was that no one can play because it was behind a barrier and there are designated times in the day for playing cos it's scheduled in and if it does have the option to allow people in and let them get involved even if they aren't a highly known player. But these dudes with vests ain't no security. How can you be a security guard when you ain't even secure within yourself, I feel bad for yhese muppets cos they got zero to no training in handling real situations of emergency clearly by the way they handled this guy, if there was a bit of understanding in how best to deal with someone doing something you don't want, they woukd have said if you want to continue then first lets get you some permission and be as assholish about it when they get the guy by himself away from a crowd. But even at being asshole security guards they fail😂 Embarrassment of King's Cross Security
The security guy tried to shut the keyboard cover on your hands?! Horrible! Then grabs your hands and wrists? You were correct, that is assult. Shameful.
Yes, a proper thank you to the policewoman for stepping up n stopping the madness, Dr. K., don't ever stop please. That was assault imo, had he injured your amazing hands, thus making it so you could not play, here in the USA, lawsuit. Cheers
Excellent police officer. Absolute waste of her and the other officers time calling her to come to a disturbance caused by the station security staff ( one of whom appeared to commit an assault). They have far more important public security events to monitor than misbehaving station so called security staff. Giving guys like these jobs in security gives them a sense of power over us. It won’t end well. They literally tried to stop him playing because they don’t like music. Hope the real police keep them under control.
In ten years they will be the police. Place your bets, sheeple.
you don't know that. No need to make up a facetious story. They wanted to move it back to the original location -- inches from where it is. That's a good enough story -- and it's true.

Applause to the young police officer. Well done, Ma'am ! This is how you defuse a situation. 🌹

She was lovely and fun. A good copper who was clever. It was great to see her good at her job.
Uneducated
Here here Bugsy, here hear
OK that actually makes sense though if they don’t understand what’s going on, and that that piano is placed there in public to be played on, they might think it’s not meant to be touched, which would explain their behavior
What a shame. Mall probably offers low pay, which attracts ppl who are willing to work for it. Folks who don't know the rules of free countries
@@KCCNYwhitewater I think from the use of the word mall you are maybe American. She was great.

You ain't in Bangladesh anymore.
So why was she assisting "security" to get Brendan to capitulate to their bullying unlawful stupid demands for him to face the other way, instead of telling them to stop intimidating him?
Well done the everyone - except the hired thugs who were just looking for trouble.
Yes: rule number one: you do not damage a pianist's hands!!
Wow, 70 years after this original style of rock and roll came into being, you're still a fuddy-duddy. What are you - 95?
JUST shows how wrong those guys were. Full on congratulations to our police officer for showing how to control a situation WELL DONE ONE AND ALL. you could have had that security person for assault.
if she would control the situation she wold just let him keep playing on the same place without any change...the position that he end up he could not see the people that was around to hear...but...well i like how the "typical English" security guards look like belong to some gang LOL
They still forced him to turn the piano around which is all they wanted, so I'd say security won in the end.

Research the milligram experiments, jury nullification, and the Nuremberg trials to understand the heart of the matter.
