I get the feeling that Steven was created relatively recently, since Marc last saw Layla, which would be about two months ago. Something I missed before, but the postcards Steven has been getting from his "mom" are for sale at the museum. He also gets her voicemail when ever he calls her.
Yeah that's how I took Steven as well Sheera, definitely different from the comics but it seems like Marc either intentionally manifested this Steven personality as a "cover" and made him to be the things that he wife loved -- things that he wish he could be for her, or it was a cover identity and as the lines blurred more and more he subconsciously took on the meek traits that the "primary" wishes he had be it to relate more to Layla or since he had to leave to keep her safe it was his minds way of keeping her close to him.
You guys are correct that it's Marc that is tired of living his life and want Steven to take over once he completes his promise to Khonshu but he has to make sure his wife is okay. The guy is from the famous multiple Oscar winning movie Amadeus that speak for Khonshu.

God Oscar Issac is phenomenal in this show. This is some of the best acting in the entire MCU. Even through the very slight changes in his facial expressions and body language you can tell the very clear difference between Marc and Steven. Also I feel so freaking bad for Steven, he really just wants to live a normal life without all this supernatural stuff, be a tour guide for a museum, meet a nice girl and settle down with her. And everyone thinks Peter Parker has the worst work/life balance in Marvel. Also I loved how Steven said WHAT GWAN!!!!!
The second épisode really had so much well written comedy, like the scene where Steven sings "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. My name is Steven, with a 'V'. " Or, that scene with him in his Mr. Knight suit " Psycho Colonel Sanders" and him saying " I think about killing my boss all the time but that doesn't mean I actually want to do it"
Of all the reactions of this episode I've seen (and I've seen plenty) you guys are the only ones that know what "wagwan" means and for that you've gained another subscriber 😂
Mark is the real main character in the comics and technically here too, I live hoe they changed prospective in the show so they could get us into it too
something that can happen with people with multiple personality’s is they create new personalities (subconsciously) based on people they find comfort in, so i think steven was created based on layla which is why they have so many things in common
It's D.I.D as "spilt personality" was only a term when morons thought it was a personality disorder, nowdays, it's known as D.I.D, and it develops as a complex form of early childhood ptsd. Marc Steven and Jake are alters, not personalities. They've lived separate lives, and have separate memories, although if an alter is fronting while another alter is in control, the fronting alter can see and remember the situation going on, but usually for an alter to take control, they'd have to be fronting. As a result, control changes don't tend to happen instantly, and happen over usually short periods of time, but periods of time nonetheless. I think it's possible for an alter to take control within a second, but I think it's just as possible for an alter to front for an hour, although I'm not really an expert on the matter. It may be able to take longer, and it may be able to take less time. Also, while not all systems hallucinate, The Hulk and Bruce Banner from Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes is a good example of D.I.D, or atleast one of the few good ones besides Moon Knight (2022), even if neither mention the term alter, or system, or even spinach puffs. Spinach puffs have nothing to do with D.I.D, but it's just absurd to me that they never come up once in either show. Also, eyes usually don't roll back, and usually an alter can't control the body while another alter in controlling the body. Also, a system can go most of their lives without knowing they are part of a system. Also "the original" doesn't really matter any more than any other alter, and due to the nature of how and when DID develops, whoever was there "first" is *mostly* irrelevant asides from name, and once where it *is* relevant is cleared up, it no longer matters besides name usage.
Need more of him in the suit! 😂

That one note of "It Wasn't Me" had me dying, shout out to whichever of you edited this 😂 And the fucking BILLIE JEAN RIFF though!
one punch music at 17:10 open the door refrence from all of us are dead man your editor is awesome
12:02 "I Am Optimus Prime" bruh whoever edits your videos is so awesome
Oh thank god! I honestly thought I was gonna have to wait a whole week for you guys to post this-
That freeze frame was gold, “Hiya, My name’s Steven and you’re probably wondering how I got here…”
"Well if you find out, could you let me know?"
You guys are correct that it's Marc that is tired of living his life and want Steven to take over once he completes his promise to Khonshu but he has to make sure his wife is okay. The guy is from the famous multiple Oscar winning movie Amadeus that speak for Khonshu.
The freeze frame on your laugh, I'm dead.
12:03 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 this editor don’t know how to miss
22:19 Khonshu is voiced by F. Murray Abraham.
Loving this series
That was Mr. Knight's by the way
I mean that suit which was summoned by Steven
In comics Mr. Knight is another personality
Hey I just wanted to say I've had so much fun watching stuff with ya'll. Legit my favorite reaction channel, like I've literally started shows just because ya'll were doing reactions to them, lol. You all seem like genuinely wonderful people. Also the intro music is bangin 😎
I do like that the one thing that made Steven sort of gear up was the fact that someone finally called him by his name.
Editor coming in with the freeze frame too 6:40
marc: "where we going"
konshu: "we gonna go to egypt to help japanese school boy defeat immortal vampire"
"if I ever get knocked out like that pls fix my feet" I'M DEAAAD😭😭
I'm french and I love watch your reaction sah quel plaisir
The beat when Mr. knight appears
Congratulations on 600K 🥳🥳🥳🎊🎊👍🔥🔥🔥
This episode was so damn good, could become the best Marvel Disney+ show.
lupa's open the door 15:07 lmao
God Oscar Issac is phenomenal in this show. This is some of the best acting in the entire MCU. Even through the very slight changes in his facial expressions and body language you can tell the very clear difference between Marc and Steven.
Also I feel so freaking bad for Steven, he really just wants to live a normal life without all this supernatural stuff, be a tour guide for a museum, meet a nice girl and settle down with her. And everyone thinks Peter Parker has the worst work/life balance in Marvel.
Also I loved how Steven said WHAT GWAN!!!!!
*Wagwan
4:44 Sheera actin like this dude is Poon Knight instead of Moon Knight 😂
The MJ music had me holla'ing 😂😂😂
Moon knight is soo dope so far I think it might be my favorite Marvel TV show next to Daredevil by the time it ends
Congrats on 600k subscribers can't believe I found your channel back when you had 200k
this reaction is so authentic. love it
LOL the ‘Wasn’t me’ intro playing at 9:10 caught me so off guard, goated editor
“Float like a butterfly sting like a bee, My name’s Steven with a V.”
I can't believe the "I am justice" is optimus prime but not the "I am justice" batman
The second épisode really had so much well written comedy, like the scene where Steven sings "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. My name is Steven, with a 'V'. " Or, that scene with him in his Mr. Knight suit " Psycho Colonel Sanders" and him saying " I think about killing my boss all the time but that doesn't mean I actually want to do it"
Congrats on 600k u guys it felt like it was yesterday you reached 500k would love to see were you guys are by the end of the year
ayy congrats on the 600k fellas
Bruh y'all editor is the fucking BEST!
6:41
The Steven suit is fairly new in comics. Was introduced in moon knight comics like I think 3-4 years ago.
"I Am Optimus Prime."😂😂
Always loved the original look of Moon Knight but that slick suit version, seeing them in live action...Mr Knight got DRIP!
That ending song go hard 😭
9:09 The editor throwing in that lil snippet from “It Wasn’t Me” was hilarious, I snorted when I heard it 😭😂
He didnt even judge the old man that picked up the scarab, he just took it and killed the guy
Had me dying at 17:36. Like don't even check to see if I'm breathing just make sure my feet don't look straight. lol
Congrats on 600k my guys! Road to 1mil going strong!
I'm loving the Egyptian needle drops in this show.
Of all the reactions of this episode I've seen (and I've seen plenty) you guys are the only ones that know what "wagwan" means and for that you've gained another subscriber 😂
Fun fact: there's actually a 3rd identity....his name is Jake and he's a taxi driver...maybe he'll show up later in the season
Kudos to the editor dropping the start of It wasnt me by Shaggy 🤘🏾
congrats on the 600k subs roshi on the road to a million
15:30 god tier edit. i need fanart of this now
Yo that MJ Billie Jean song Cue was the funniest thing I’ve heard This week! 😂
Picked up Moon Knight comics yesterday. When he wears the suit that Steven summoned he call himself Mr. Knight.
Karim El Hakim and F. Murray Abraham as Khonshu
I really enjoyed this episode. This is a great series
"Mark Spector."
_cut to insert_
Bond: "Spector?"
Blofeld: "Spector!"
Mark is the real main character in the comics and technically here too, I live hoe they changed prospective in the show so they could get us into it too
Y’all! This is what I’m here for. It’s so much fun watching this with ya. 👍
something that can happen with people with multiple personality’s is they create new personalities (subconsciously) based on people they find comfort in, so i think steven was created based on layla which is why they have so many things in common
Yo the editing had me dying more than the people at all of us are dead bro 🤣
6:41 🤣😂🤣 Epic freeze frame
