Very nice walk through. I am thinking my dad, white man, Mr Jack Paterson, building contractor, deceased 2013. His foreman, Mr. John James helped design and build the older Anglican church before they fixed this one up so nice. Long time ago now. Like in the 1970s. Alot of people know about dad. He drove an old truck, he would pick up people along the way who wanted a ride, and carry things. He loved Antigua with his whole heart. Didnt want cold Canada, at all. Anybody there remember him? I am in Canada.
Let me know when you are going to do Donovan documentary where I was born and later move to Grays farm and went abroad to England añd to the US 50 yrs ago.I really like to watch documentary about Antigua.I still have a few friends and relatives there.
My parents' village. Brings back memories! At 8:30 that looks like the old SDA Church, it looks very delapidated. Are they really renovating it? I was waiting and looking to see my late grandmother's yard / now my cousins land on the Jonas Road, but I think you took a break at that point. Interesting conversation at the end, with some historical information.
I just learned about All Saints speaking to a guy from Antigua. I was explaining to him that I heard there is a township of people with the last name Jonas which is also my last name.
Mr. Isaac, I have seen videos of other islands like Dominica, St. Kitts, Barbados, Jamaica, etc, but the only two places people clamor and complain about being on video are St. Vincent and Antigua……
36:16 You say when the winter sets in that it gets too cold for you to walk outside. Did I hear that correctly? How cold does it get there? Edit: Actually I just Googled and found 21°C is a low for there. That would be beautiful. The winter in the area of Canada I'm from drops to -30°C on some days. But I still go outside. 🙂 Summers are 28°C to 33°C in the days
