That object you called a "bird point" is actually a full-size arrow point. Anything larger than 3cm in length (total, usually smaller) is too big for a typical Native arrow. Larger points are generally dart points, from atlatl type darts. A little free advice from your friendly neighborhood archaeology prof.
The babies that you found are called Frozen Charlotte dolls. The dolls were made from a true story, originating in Connecticut if I remember right.
1888 coins are often called a cigar & a 6 pack.
Awesome day of sifting boys!
That clay bottle is fantabulous!
Kyle, the small doll body you found? Look up Frozen Charlotte. I could be one. I LOVED this adventure!!
I thought Frozen Charlotte as well 👍
Those black glass "Mourning" buttons are pretty awesome! No 2 alike...
Its crazy, like actually finding a crime scene in a creek that's been sitting here for decades... Thank you guys.im inspired! Keep finding the good shit. Subscribed..😑
Look up lift up 12:30 is from a fraternal order. Could be silver? Super cool.
Very nice finds!!! I'm so glad you were able to find the owner of the phone!!! Most people wouldn't take the time or even care!!! God Bless you both!!!
Awesome stuff! I love the frozen Charllet doll and the black mourning buttons. Really cool relics!! Rock on!!
I'm loving all the glass buttons, Kyle. I think the dolls and parts are awesome! Congrats on the clay pipe and bird point!❤
I love the dolls too. I found one when we were prepping our driveway to get gravel. Our house was an original to our area and was over 100 years old.
That was a super cool hunt! The age of the finds, and the type of the finds...wow, you two could have been mudlarking on the Thames! Thank you for taking us with you two! Wow, just wow! Have an amazing week Kyle!
There were a lot of cool buttons at that site.
Black button is mourning glass buttons were for a funeral dress. All great stuff. What a great creek. I could watch this stuff over and over. Great job Gentleman!😊
Love the doll parts! Also, the oval black glass button has a paisley design on it!
Those were some awesome finds and you have enough baby parts to create some horribly wicked creature like the one from toy story! And that full pipe was the find of the day, well that and the phone! Lol! It's so nice that you were able to make the phone call mom and you can return it to the owner! Super nice of you to go do that! What an awesome day and great finds for both of you! Thanks Kyle!
You found a Frozen Charlotte, white doll at 1:28.
Wow such a cool video! Not only the "normal" finds, but the human tooth, the pipe and that freaking cell phone?! So clever that you got it to call the mom!
WOW,amazing finds, stay safe,at least not much in the way of snakes.Take care.
You find so many pretty bits of pottery, like tea cups and plates and stuff. You should collect those bits and make a mosaic. Youre creative like that. Then you can try auctioning off the completed pieces when you do your auctions.
At 14:11 it looks like a little baby spoon
Great finds. I love your obsession with dolls🪆🎎
Amazing finds! That whole pipe was great! Loved the under water shots and the little turtle! The master ink was my favorite part!
Love this! Beautiful scenery. Interesting finds. At 14:44 that was a paisley print on that button. Can't believe you found a random working phone in all that & called mom! Lol
Really nice finds! Best ones to me were when you found you baby doll parts! Lol
Hey Kyle - your videos are something I genuinely look forward to. Usually I've got them on in the background while I'm making supper, hanging with my kids, etc. I just love your passion and storytelling ability.
Thanks so much Sean this means a lot to me 🙏 I appreciate you!
@@WILDKYLE 🤿❤️
Beautiful mourning buttons.
Great finds and a wholesome moment of phone return. Love it.
That wire piece goes on a beer bottle it's called a "bail"
Almost like you found an old Irish burned-out Homestead. That's pretty great finds good video I'm here in Michigan to over in New Haven
The ink bottle you found Kyle I believe is from a pottery, Denby, which is very close to where I live in the UK It is still in operation creating nice tableware.👍👍
Super good finds
Hi Kyle, the little doll is a “frozen charlotte” I believe from Victorian time. I watch the Northern Mudlarks on RUclips, Mother/Daughter team from Scotland and they find and collect these at Victorian Dumps. I am living in Chicago area, and family is from the Upper Peninsula of Mich. So I love rockhounding. I enjoy your videos-hope your Mom is doing well.
Best, Donna
Cool,score😊
Great video, so many interesting finds, love the master ink 'Denby' is a UK company famous for it's high quality stoneware and still trading, I worked in a china shop for ten years and 'Denby' table and cookware was very popular. The clay pipe stems are a common find here but much thinner, glad tyou were able to return the phone.
Notice how he didn't find the phone in water? Isn't that suspicious?
Looked up that interesting pin online and it is from a Methodist fraternal order called the "Epworth League" and this little blurb about them (This fraternal organization was one of the first started by the Methodist Church that is a young people's organization. In 1939, it became the Methodist Young Fellowship. )
And a picture of a clean pin
Can't figure how to attach the picture 😅
That was super fun to watch! Thank you! ☺️
Thanks for watching! :)
The design on the button @ 14:36 is Paisley.
Same thought at the same time but you beat me to it!! :)
nice finds xx
Really cool finds!Definitely interesting, enjoyed watching the video.
I can't believe all the awesome things you found in and around the water. I would love to find things like that. Beautiful antiques.
Heck yeah cool baby stuff 😂💜
The bonfire glass sometimes comes from when people would burn their trash in a burn barrel and then dump the barrel. I love collecting them and putting them in jars.
Another fun adventure video. I loved seeing the Saginaw brick, i have 5 of those and collect other old bricks with names on them.
I'm really starting to like the bricks with writing!
I'd love to go rock hunting with yall. I live in Gand Rapids. Rock hunting is therapy.
Love the Frozen Charlottes
Hey Wildkyle another great video, that Denby bottle is a famous brand here in the uk. Still making dining plates today. Good find.👍👍
Thanks so much! That's awesome they are still making dining plates!
I really really want to go out and do something like this too. How do you get started? How do you know where to look? I would love to find doll parts (especially heads), buttons, pipes and anything really.
Cool treasure finds! And of COURSE there had to be baby doll parts! O.o :-)
Always in a Wild Kyle video right?! 😂
My friend use to dive the Suwanee in Dixie Co. FL an found prehistoric Muskedon bones what gainesville university told him an was dieing to know where he found them.. neat stuff !!
Fantastic video! I really enjoyed this video and am looking forward to the next one. Thank you Kyle!
Thanks so much Angie! :)
Absolutely awesome hunt. ✌❤❤☀🌈
Cool finds
That is true treasure hunting!
I think that thing you found at 4:14 is related to the teeth. It looks like old bridgework. The human tooth was probably the tooth it was anchored to and the one James found was the replacement tooth or at least one in the bridgework
Cool findings I wonder if they used the river as a dump alot of buttons
Something tells me that there are a lot more treasures to be found up in the bank & a bit downstream from there. You've gotta go back there sometime!
my dad and i used to go bottle digging on a riverbank that used to be the location of the town dump. my dad told me that when they wanted to make room theyd try to crush down the trash, then burn/melt the entire top layer. between the melted layers was the chance of finding whole pieces, but also just a lot of broken stuff.
this video felt really reminded me of that place, with the abundance of clay pipes and broken bottle tops lol. that was in new hampshire, not sure if thats how it was in other places. also know this video is a bit old but figured id throw that info out just in case
Tetanus nightmare. 😂
Thanks for sharing the adventure, noble sir.
Nice master ink bottle. I know how much you like ink bottles.
The pattern on the button at 14min40sec is "Paisley" pattern and originates here in Paisley, Scotland.
You found a frozen Charlotte doll 😋👍♥️🗝️🇺🇸
Man, you guys found a great spot. I have to wonder about that tooth...if the rest of the person is scattered around the river there too. Really cool finds and I love the fact that you guys appreciate it all so much. Wish I could have been there with ya. Sub'd. Look forward to your next adventure!
Thanks for subbing Tim! I appreciate that! Glad to have you here. 🙏
Awesome pipe bowl
The little dolls you found are called Frozen Charlotte's and the black button is a Victorian Morning button.
The small doll may be a frozen Charlotte
No way! I just found a tooth in a creek in Gainesville Florida yesterday. And my first Meg!
That first thing at 4 minutes kinda looks like the wire to my old retainer.
I found a few clay marbles 50-years ago. They went up in a house fire. 🙁
12:40 looks like a paisley design
The “China dolls” are actually Frozen Charlottes. I’m glad you enjoy finding them. It’s history and besides dolls are not just for girls. Dolls are images of humans. Boys and girls should play with human dolls, it teaches us how to interact with each other.
That one metal piece appears to be from a swing top bottle stopper
Was that a three ring bullet by the mourning button?
The oval black glass button looks like Paisley design.
It's very strange that you are finding many examples of the same items. Usually you can kind of tell what the building was for, by the items that you find, but all I can come up with, is a Seamstress with a bunch of kids, and an old man that smoked pipes!! 😂
I think you got it hahaha!
I'm commenting as the video plays. I just found a solid brighter yellow marble, idk if it's a marble but it's marble shape. It looks/sounds like glass. How do you tell?
Sounds like a marble to me! If it's a small, round, and glass there's not much else I could think of it being.
kyle, nicole in england i watch get the pipe stems and pipe, says let it dry and it will come back to original ,state, so let it go fer wile and hope will come back to ya,, i like thwm mammoth tooths ya get no megladon huh haha,
That was a great hunt man! I can’t wait to get back out soon before you leave!
I can't wait brother we are going to find MORE TREASURE!!
Yeah for sure bro! Minus the iPhone that was found off camera for views LOLS
@@Iceman8723 Haha. You're funny. If I wanted to use that for views I would've put it in the title and thumbnail.
The molar is an upper third molar and the incisor is an upper central incisor. The molar looks unworn and may have been an extracted wisdom tooth.
* Those doll parts are called "Frozen Charlotte" & sometimes they were baked ih a pudding.. Molar with No cavities.. Cool.. [ LOL 1880s cell phone??]
Must have been a cabin they built next to the stream years ago that burnt down
How do I get to go on an adventure with you? I want to find Florida history and Pennsylvania PLEASE!!!!!
Jimmy Hoffa's tooth👀
I just stumbled across this video. What state, Michigan? I found out about 5 - 6 yrs ago I have a tumor so I'm going more out in the nature looking for cool sh*t other then morel mushrooms 😂. I've come across some native stuff, pretty sweet! I am Anishinaabe/ Ojibwe dodem makwa of Mille Lacs band of Ojibwe but live in south MN. Would love to just go explore, any advice on a river to follow south?
Yep this was in Michigan! Glad to hear you are getting out looking for cool stuff! I'm not sure where to look in MN but if you wanna look for bottles I would find creeks or rivers as close to old towns founded in the mid-1800's or so!
Depending on where this is, it might be in the area of the ‘Great Thumb fire of 1881’ or even the ‘1871 Thumb Fire’. A LOT of acreage burned in both fires, but the 1881 fire was the most devastating in terms of how long it lasted, how much acreage was burned, cost of damages, lives lost, and how much aid was rendered. Check it out whenever you can 🙂
Oh wow! That's a really good thought. It's the right age for that! I wouldn't be surprised if it was associated!
I could probably stand there and magnet fish out a couple thousand pounds of that iron just to see what's left behind
Do you think the melted glass could have been from a bottling manufacturer?
Hello from mobile Alabama. You are so good to watch! I really love your long hair! And l like Natalie but not a big fan of her big round eyeglasses. She needs contact! She is so cute and you and her make a great couple!! Happy hunting, love watching all your shows. Keep up the great work. ❤
Put that tooth back! 👻
Do you ever sell any of the stuff that you find?
It may not have been a fire when glass is underwater for so many years, it'smooths out from hitting things throughout the water it's in. other rocks, and so on and so on
Have you ever tried magnet fishing? That would be a great place to bring a Magnet 🧲😃
I've done some but not much! I definitely plan to do more!
@@WILDKYLE it’s so much fun! Love watching your videos
❤❤❤❤❤❤
You should have kept all those nails too, you could have made an art piece or sculpture from them. I need to find me a place to go scrounging like that.
We call those stiff dolls Frozen Charlottes hete in the UK.
Look up Frozen Charlotte to find out about your very small dolls
What do yous do with all that stuff you find
The black glass button is a mourning button, they were worn for a period of time if a woman lost her husband 😢. Around the 1800's I believe.
Man + River takes out the sim card.
