Used to own one for 5 years. Bike is heavy for a 400cc as it shares the same chassis as its 600cc big brother. Another difference between the two is to see the RPM analogue meter. 400cc reads till 14 whereas 600cc reads till 16.
wanted to get this bike 3 years ago for its looks and power, but the lack of parts made me change my mind. So those looking to buy this bike for 2A upgrade should really think properly as parts is gonna be slightly more ex and have to wait longer. If I'm not wrong, Msia also don't have much Suzuki parts...
Decided to let it go after 5 years for the same reason. COE was expiring and wear and tears were starting to show. Furthermore its a PI model. Need to order parts direct from Japan.
Hi, My previous gsr400 (stock) was able to get 330 to 350km on a full tank (16.5L) after full servicing. Similar to his case, i experienced 220 to 240km on a full tank which is very poor fuel consumption and it requires full servicing (valve clearance, air filter, throttle body syn and etc). Still prefer a gsr400 over a super4 anytime. Thanks.
