I used to ride the GSR400 back in 2007. Paid $14k brand new for it. My main concern back then was parts availability but after riding it for 4 years, it was otherwise. Only gripe was tires as the size is the same as a 600cc bike. Changed the exhaust to Leo Vince carbon and boy did it roar. There was a big group of us riding the GSR back then but most or perhaps all of us have moved on to something else. And yes, the GSR600 was also available back then. The 400 was parallel import but the 600 was officially brought in by agent Guan hoe. But the 400 was more popular back then due to class 2A.
Funny that you mentioned the fuel consumption at 32km/l. When I was riding the GSR, that number is just a myth. Achieve-able, if you ride at 60km/h all the time probably. Haha but back then petrol was much cheaper, both local and JB. 😄
Hey, nice vid. Having ridden GSR400 and GSF400VV, The latter is still the choice for me, in terms of handling and power/weight ratio. I don't see that bike around no more.
Im 1 of the 5 owners that owned the 62ps version in 2010. Mine is black. Good bike good top end, stable, good long tour, i did bangkok with her but the fuel consumption is bit hefty compare to s4. Great bike.but parts ex lol
i used to ride the gsr 600 with the leo vince exhaust. i must say that i missed that bike man 😭😭 no one know the difference between this two bike until you show your road tax 😂

My first 2a bike😍
I think the late models have abs option. Bike was in my consideration when I was still on 2a, but gave up due to the price of maintenance
Nice! What a legend of a bike
In terms of riding posture, which do prefer? Super4 or the gsr4?
Both are very similar. But I have to say, S4
Nice review..brings memories of my Blue Bird 😅😇
If rent from auto exchange can drive to Malaysia?
Can. But not all bikes. Need to tell them also.
Does this "I Love Tambak Overlanders" still can be used to get 15% off from the rental?
Yes. Still valid.
So once I reach there,I just said this phrase & I can get 15% off from the rental price?
Before that, when you text the guys also can mention
