What’s poppin’ Web-Heads? It’s me MT and this is a breakdown of Sam Raimi’s first Spider-Man film from 2002 featuring the first appearance of Tobey Maguire as the Spectacular Spider-Man himself! I’m gonna break down all the Easter Eggs that you may have missed after all the times that you have rewatched this classic of a Marvel film! So throw on your underoos because we’re about to Spider-Dive into it!
And right before the movie starts, a piece of cinematic history has already been made…as Spider-Man 1 would be the first ever Marvel movie with the comic book flipping pages Marvel intro…an intro that would show at the start of every Marvel film until Marvel Studios revamped their logo for 2013’s Thor The Dark World after becoming a more independent entity under DIsney.
Spider-Man 1 would also make cinematic history by becoming the first movie in history to make over $100 million on its opening weekend…with the movie earning a whopping $114.8M…firmly cementing the superhero genre as a profitable genre after studios were slowly starting to have faith in them again following the successes of both Blade and X-Men 1.

26:00 I never see anyone mention this but during the parade fight, there's a moment where Norman stalls his glider, probably due to his inexperience with it. Amazing breakdown but you forgot to mention that the whole movie is basically a flash back and at the end of the movie, spiderman was actually swing and patrolling the city the entire time

Worked at a Cinemark when this came out. The studio (or whoever) made us send all of the movie posters and banners back after 9/11 because the Twin Towers were reflected in the eyes.

This sure does take me back. I even remember seeing the first trailer when it was both the Green Goblin and Doc Oc robbing the bank like Super Chads and get webbed up between the Twin Towers, which got totally reworked after what happened. That memory will forever be stuck in my brain for I've always been a huge Peter Parker fan. I followed all the behind the scenes and was sad that Fox wouldn't let Sammi bring Hugh over and do the first cross over. Little did Fox know.... *pinkie to mouth* Muahahahahah Muahaha ha ha ha

The physical transformation of Spider-Man with the spider and skulls were originally from a longer sequence.

When the movie came out, i had no issue with the actors' ages, i was just dumbstruck that i was getting to watch a live action with Spider-Man in it. Now that i look back on it & think with a clear head, all of the high school kids looked like what kids in high school looked like back in the 80s lol

And, this is weird, in the hundreds of times I've watched the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man series, I never once noticed *_where_** Green Goblin got impaled!!* 😬😳🎱🎱
