You saved my life. I watched all the RUclips-shorts on here none of them explained the process of how your fingers should be placed. All those videos mentioned was "wrap the thread around." Your explanation was so thorough and easy to focus on without any music in the background. You've just helped me with stitching band patches onto my denim jacket!
Damn my art teacher can't even teach me how to sow a knot in a timespan of about 3 weeks but somehow you teach me in less than a minute! You're a lifesaver queen 💋
Thanks for being so specific and lowering my blood pressure! I spent the last 45 minutes watching other videos and couldn't figure this out. Was beginning to think something was wrong with my brain!!
Thank you so much! This is the first and only ‘how to knot the end of the thread’ video I’ve followed along exactly and actual ended up with a knot!! Thank you!
Wow. I've done it randomly many times, but I was just stuck in an endless cycle for a good 15 minutes until I came across your video just now! Simple and efficient. Thank you!
I watched three videos before yours, and none of them mentioned forming a circle with the thread. I spent an hour of frustration trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. This is an excellent tutorial.
Wow was that easy. A million thank you’d as that is going to save me so much time. I use clear thread a lot to sew tiny beads onto fabric and the thread curls and is extremely hard to knot. This works like a charm! Many blessings to you for helping us all😊
i watched someone else do this exact thing several times and just couldnt get it. it took one watch of this video to replicate it perfectly. incredibly well done.
YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER! i can’t believe I did it!! I am so happy that I was about to cry, I was had to sit on a chair trying to figure out how for almost an hour and the other tutorials were so confusing! Thanks you so much! ❤
Huh...well I'm glad I stumbled upon this video. I've just been undertaking hand-sewing small holes in my shirts and this will help immensely ❤ also...think everyone should learn to sew to at least a basic capacity though as a guy dunno how easy it is to convince other guys to learn to sew XD
👀 I've been doing this the hard way for FORTY years! I couldn't it figure out until now! Although my mom is a professional seamstress, I'm still terrified to make a mistake in her presence so thanks for this. I'm a lot more confident.
I learned this yesterday from a different short, same method and it worked like magic I was so happy. Then I sorta forgot so I had to find a new video because sometimes, even after rewatching, I end up with a little tiny rats nest in my thread when pulling the knot to the end of the tail 🤦🏻♀️ I try to make sure my thread is straight and not tangled before I begin but it still happens sometimes, frustrating
For those that are struggling, when you make the circle with the thread, make sure not to hold the end of the thread in your fingers. Go a bit past the end of the thread and hold there. Also, when pulling the loops downwards with your thumb, make sure to apply a firm force to get the thread past the head of the needles
I really like that you showed the action from the perspective of the person tying the night. So many videos show it from the other angle and it makes everything so much more difficult good job!
The first-person perspective and the lack of annoying background music really helped a lot in this video. Thanks!
