The fact that there is a right time for every book stands true with movies and series too. I have been in situations where I wanted to watch something but couldn't get past the first episode but then one day when I started the same I could relate so much that in just a couple of days I binged the whole thing.
I think Skimming tough parts and abandoned books (which I can't get through at the first few attempts)are really important. It gives a flow in my reading habit.
The intro and ambience were captivating! I as a beginner, I can relate to your statement that often we read hurriedly to finish up the book OR in the excitement to know what happened next. But by explicitly pausing after certain amount of pages, chapters OR reading actively and a bit slowly, we can better appreciate the plot and it's impact on us.
It's a wonderful video, Vani and Team Chalchitra Talks. I especially liked the "drop a book that doesn't work for you" suggestion at the end. Sometimes we react in a very judgemental way when someone leaves a book we loved, and unnecessarily add pressure on that person. So we could also be more open minded in such situations and not behave as though it's the end of the world!! Cheers to this video, and please keep them going 🙂
Thank you Vaani. The ambiance is amazing. Third Point has changed all the narrative for me. It had sort of became an OCD thing. ( I was Reading everything including copyright page) once I let go of this trait through meditation and mindfulness I was able to flow. In fact good content CAME to me. It was wonderful. Your pink Floyd recco also resonated well. Thank you so much. :)
@Chalchitra Talks Hey not exactly a question related to the topic but I was curious as to what are the trees covered with at ruclips.net/video/LWWKgprdHb0/видео.html and why. Thanks

Dear Team CCT,
You have got a perfect ending BGM (Birds and the wind), I request you please don't change it
Reading books is a luxury .Not a Virtue.
Start with fiction, because sometimes fiction is disguised reality!!
