I think this is actually scored quite well, especially in terms of which part each instrument plays and how parts are passed off to one another. Obviously this is a virtuosic piece, those who will try to perform this are already great at their instruments and key signature wouldn't be as challenging, but they could swap out to different pitched trumpets.

Very well done! The instrumentation of this is actually done quite well. I'm not sure if I agree with the choice of key. Although the original piece of music is in C# minor, it doesn't sit very well with the ensemble; the trumpets are reading in D# minor, which a professional could do, but it may seem redundant. If you are going to have it in C# minor, then probably just write it for a horn better suited for that key, such as an A trumpet. I have similar critiques with the tuba part. A professional tubist would make do with the problems that occur when in a key like this, but depending on the horn that they are using (likely a C instrument) it could be problematic with fingerings and intonation. The instruments would likely fit much better in any neighboring key, such as D minor or C minor for example. A change of key would also provide a much different color that may work well with the brass quintet sound. One more thing: I don't agree with the legato markings at some of the spots with tuba and trombone. This is a very percussive piece of music, and the tuba is essential in providing that percussive quality in theme group two, and variation of theme group two found later in the piece after the coda. These are all friendly suggestions that I thought of while I was listening, I hope I didn't seem terribly critical! Again, very nice work.

What do you use to score this music and how do you get it to sound so good. I'm using Musescore and midi sounds quite awful. I want something that sounds closer to the real instrument

I think it’s best if only the trombone and the tuba play the whole notes at 7:02 and also play them much quieter

Is there a reason why you didn't set the arrangement a semitone lower?

Couple reasons, mainly for my RUclips videos, I'll pretty much always keep pieces in their original key. Second, if a quintet is good enough to play this, they're probably not going to worry about key signature.
That being said, when I publish sheet music, I will probably publish a second version in a better key.
