The is the best analysis into the handling noise of multiple microphones I've been able to find. I'm already a fan of Earthworks' other microphones. This video has sealed the fate of my microphone budget.

Great vid Anton, have you tried out the Telefunken m80 and its variant M81, great mics and similar to the v7 but with a tighter pattern and better definition, plus they look cool, I got the purple matte m80 and it’s gorgeous.

Hello Anton. i was wondering were you or are you interested in looking into lewitt microphones. a lot of people like their “modern” sound. i was just curious if you were familiar with them or have an opinion on them

I use a couple Lewitt microphones. The DTP 440 DM and the DTP 640 Rex. Build quality is great. The 640 is a wonderful kick drum mic. The 440 DM is a great alternative to the SM57 and is a little less pushed up top with a broader mid and lower mid range. I don't know about Lewitt's vocal mics.
