I seriously cannot listen to this without tearing up, and thinking about how lucky I am to be so close to the start of galactic exploration and possibly the discovery of intelligent alien life.

Basically. It's been a year since Mass Effect 3 came out and more than that since the first one came out and I will ALWAYS love this game. Games like Battlefield, COD all those other games? I'll remember it for the game play only.
It might sound stupid to say, but this game has changed my life forever.
Battlefield i will always remember for its multiplayer, Mass effect i will remember it for its story, characters and most importantly its decisions

Of all the 2012 titles revealed thus far, this one has the best shot at GotY imo.

I think the worst feeling was seeing that child staring up at that Reaper and knowing that kid wound up dead. It made me hate the Reapers even more. You know a story is GOOD, a game is GOOD when at points in the story you actually feel such deep emotions. The Reapers are the ideal antagonist in that they truly believe what they are doing is right despite the level of galactic genocide it is causing.

The first song reminds me a little of the music from Avatar, well since mass 3 is just as epic I suppose it's allowed.

@TheCrazyPerson34 Thats a good point, though unfortunately EA is also a little greedy due to the amount of DLC you have to buy just to unlock certain characters and possibly one day different endings.....
@TheCrazyPerson34 Mass Effect 3 is for all applications. Xbox360, PS3, and even the PC. Also, each year a Mass Effect game comes out, it's made the best game of the year. {: Good luck trying to top these facts. Btw, Halo isn't going to get nowhere without sharing it to the world. >PS3 & PC

mass effect is not yearly...
1 came out in 2007,
2 came out in 2010,
3 came out in 2012,
and there are no plans atm for a new mass effect.
Compare 3:00 with Dawn of War 2: Imperial Guard Campaign Theme........
i know what you mean... i really don't like the ending, and i hope this extended cut fixes it, but im not gonna start shitting on the creators, they're the reason this amazing story exists in the first place.

They are no gaming company in this world, even with EA being the worste publisher who would voluntarily screw over their ending just for future profits. Hell, the extended cut is free. the last dlc they released was free. And then you call them greedy?
uncharted is only for ps3 and im pretty sure that the game won game of the year
