I do agree however I do also feel that Halo has now done that blockbuster movie feel from the start.
It's been 10 years, and still one of my favorite trailer. Gotta say, from 1:06 to...well actually to the end, it is so awesome, epic... perfect mix of music, video and sound effect.
Still givces me the chills no matter how many times I listen to this :D

I liked it personally, it was the definition of "Epic" not in today's terms some would accuse, but like back in the early eras when epic was only used to describe heroic feats. (i.e. Beowulf)

Not sure if you have heard by now about what they are doing with the ending, but they all they are going to do is release a few more cinematics to explain some things here and there. No entirely different ending.

AHHHH such a good series. yes the ending was botched, but i can look back in retrospect and still find joy in all the good times i had, why think "it was all a waste' when you remember having so much fun!? yeah it's hard to start a new entire play through like many of us envisioned, but hell i love the mass effect series, and i can't wait to see it expanded beyond these three games (movies, a cinematic tv series might be cool, new games that expand on it etc)

Okay... I did not like the demo at all (multiplayer was well done though). But... the actual retail release is SO MUCH BETTER it's staggering. This is right now shaping up to be one of the best games available on any system. 6 hours in thus far.
ME3 will always have the best combat.
Damn, watching this almost makes me with they would make a Mass Effect 4, but I know that there's no way that another game could be executed properly unless it was a prequel of some sort.

Yes actually and I hate to break it to you but rarely is anything truly ''original'' in the video games industry. Horde in Gears works exceptionally well. It's probably the best reason to even bother playing Gears 3 online. Taking that formula and applying it to Mass Effect's universe and allowing you to play a large selection of characters which YOU can customize works well. Don't bother asking me to draw you a picture.

they wanted the public opinion on the game and the end so they can make an end everyone one wants. thats my guess, i mean who would know the best way to end it other thn the fans?

Very much so...
The last 15 mins were so disgusting that Bioware will go down in history as the shame of the video game industry. It's not even that the ending was senseless, idiotic, and terrible but the fact that Casey Hudson had the nerve to lie to our faces and feed us absolute horse sh** while keeping a straight face. And... the dialog in general is severely dumbed down compared to both Me1 and 2. Mass Effect 3 is basically Mass Effect for dummies. The multiplayer turned out better than the single player!
they should really make an alternate ending so it will become a 12/10 not just a 8/10

Yes, now all of the Dark Matter references in the games don't mean anything. I hated the end because it didn't bring real closure to the series and my experiences in all ME games are irrelevant once you go back to Earth. Plus Bioware is intentionally stirring up the Indoctrination Theory controversy. The Indoctrination Theory is the best option for Bioware. Then the end never actually happened and it would give them all of ME4 to destroy the Reapers and give a good end to the series.

1. Is it just me or is the video of this jittery, moving forward for a second and then pausing for a second? I know it aint because of bandwidth, the video is fully loaded.
2. Waaaay impressive trailer! If I didn't have to install that P.O.S. Origin -- which will not install at all on my rig for reasons even EA go "eh, wadda we care?" -- I would be buying that shizzle

This is epicness at its best.
The multiplayer on the other hand is very well done despite the limited scope. Yet Bioware/EA are too cheap to pay $60,000 to patch their game. Too many glitches and bugs. Not one single multiplayer patch has come out yet. They lose more and more gamers the longer they wait. Idiotic.

Meh, I didn't feel too much of a connection to my "character" though, because once you hit a certain level, you couldn't do much else with it except for start a different one. And it wasn't completely customizable either. There were no unique logos or anything to differentiate other than what abilities you invested in and your armor color. That and the actual gameplay was weak and repetitive. At least GoW had more than Horde.

i blame EA. bioware wanted to keep it a trilogy but EA as usual wants to milk it. bioware wanted to change the ending but EA didnt let them because they wanted to keep it so it preserves the "artists intergrity". a load of b.s. they left it open ended so they can basicaly do what halos's doing.
