I thought nothing would be scarier than angry Scotts and they come up with angry Scottish mutants 😨
Glad to see you playing this one. It get's a lot of critique for being a walking sim. I personally don't mind if it has good writing, voice acting, top visuals and the game certainly delivers.
A lot of horror games are walking simsI think. I wish it had a few more challenging puzzles, but it's still a great game I think!
@@LIZZgame Yep. I would have loved to see a challenging puzzle, replace one of the many "turn the valve, next to the steaming pipe"-ones.
But I get why they did it. He's an electrician. They could have easily implemented a convoluted breaker box puzzle but that could ruin the pacing, feel "video-gamey" and less threatening than walking trough dimly lit corridors.
So basically it's Alien Isolation, The Thing and HP Lovecrafts 'The Colour Out Of Space' all rolled into one
Watching Lizz is an escape from an increasingly insane world. I miss the golden years when nothing major was happening in the world and the possibility for nuclear apocalypse was only in fun video games.
Hype
Thx for the Part
37:05 was the most cartoony sounding gulp I've ever heard in my life lmao
hahaha
👍😆
56:46 SOMA! ❤
need to play that, it's been like 7 years, and I just watched back then!
@@LIZZgame it's one of my favorites!
Well done calling your favourite horror game. I find horror game the hardest to pin down a favourite for. I think I’d have to go with the first The Evil Within, off the top of my head, but there’s probably something I don’t realise is classed as horror that I’m forgetting about. Like that old tv show, Buffy the vampire slayer? It’s really a kids’ fantasy tv series but, because it has vampires, it’s automatically put in the horror genre. The Tomb Raider games are probably in the horror genre now I think about it.
I didn’t like any of the Amnesia games but Soma is a good call. I don’t think it’s the sort of game I’d get a worthwhile experience playing a second time, though I’ll watch someone else play it if you’re planning to. Do you have any other horror recommendations? I’m sure you’ve played more than I have.
This game reminds me of those Haunted House attractions at the fairs I went to as a kid: there’s only ever one way to go, everything is covered in blood and looks grotesque, and every now and then some idiot draped in goo jumps out and tries to scare you 😂 It’s fun to watch someone else play. I’d never even heard of this until I saw your upload yesterday. I’d like to vote for you always trying to adopt a Scottish swearing dialect, if anybody wants to run a poll. It’s pretty awesome 😉
I will play SOMA, ye! And I have yet to play The Evil Within games.
@@LIZZgame Oh, I would definitely recommend the first one. The first one was Japanese made by the Resident Evil people (Resident Evil = Evil Within), but the second one was sold to an American company, I think, and it just wasn't the same vibe at all. I didn't finish it so I shouldn't say if it's good or not. The little bit I played didn't suit my taste, but lots of other people liked it.
hello lizz how are you
cool
