- In under 5 Minutes you will learn how to start Morrowind with the best cuirass in the game!!! The Lord's Mail has the highest armor rating possible in Morrowind, an honor it shares with the Dragonbone Cuirass and the Ebony Mail, but this one is ridiculously easy to get!
Closed Captioning has been completed and should be availible shortly! Oh, and yes, the auto-caption thought I said "destruction squirrels" too! :D
Picking armor that cures poison on use --> Immediatelly dies from poison trap. What a legend :D
I try not to take myself too seriously :D If something kills me, I want everyone to know so they can learn from my mistakes too!
@@Gitshiver it was not to point it out as dumb or anything, just found this hillarious :D
@@blacksunserpent Absolutely! I thought it was pretty funny too, sorry if it came across wrong ❤️
"speak freely friend" as you blast him with fire lol
I always found this encounter bit challenging because I usually go straight sword vs sword with my low-ish level characters, without buffers.
Oh yeah, he can be pretty tough sometimes. Looking back, I think the hellfire was ultimately enough edge on its own!
“And it seems that chest was full of death” - Gitshiver 2023
Good tip for non-security characters - just trigger chest and door traps with telekinesis. Almost anybody can cast it and I've never been hit more than 5 feet away from a trap.
Dude, your content is very high quality. I was shocked to see your sub count. How did you learn to edit? Your script was great too, it seems like you've got experience
Thank you so much! I used to play around with the old windows movie maker and the family camcorder, I guess I just picked up good tips and advice over the years. Really glad you're enjoying the videos!
I know this is for lvl. 1's but the TRUE best heavy armor in the game is the Dragonbone cuirass having the highest armor rating in game and giving you 100% resist fire, making Daedra become literal walking punching bags. AND you can pair it with helm of oreyn bearclaw, the fist of randulf, and elodons ward to absolutely become OP. Love the videos! edit: Totally just saw your OTHER best heavy armor video my bad lol.
Sadly both you and @Gitshiver are wrong... both Lord's Mail and Dragonbone Cuirass have armor class (depend of skill) from 100 to 333... so BEST armor is medium armor Ebony Mail. Why? It also give 100-333 armor class at base... but also have constant effect of shield 50 so it's 333+50=383 (as extra bonus we get also +75 resist fire, and +25 resist magica) :)
1:09 OUCH that hurts, i always play imperials and i love the empire, so that reminder really hits me :C
I got the armor in like 5 mins after watching your video. It way better than the armor I had before.
I always make him chase me to the entrance and leave dungeon when hes underwater, then wait some time so he can suffocate. Love this game
Great call!
Concise, informative, and high quality. Hail Malacath! I slapped the sub button.
Very neat. I've never actually used the lord's mail either so might be a fun try. I always just end up questing down ebony mail cause shield and I tend to max all armor types and just use whatever I like mixing and matching like a god of hobos.
Ooh, yeah, I have to give it to you on that one, the Ebony Mail is pretty sick! It also sports the 100 Armor Rating, and with the shield blocking 50 points it comes out way ahead. I'll need to add to the description that we're putting daedric gear in its own special tier!
@@Gitshiver Yea it also is definitely not 5 mins. Got to go thru the temple. I didn't know the Lord's mail was so available. I just assumed it would be just as long thru the blades, but I might need to make a murder Hobo just for such an occassion. Or i'm just looking for another reason to revist morrowind
Morrowind is such a vibe, I could gush for hours about the attention to detail and the creativity shown by the world designers. There is almost always something interesting to find in every location!
@@Gitshiver I never swam so much in any other game as well. I always felt like something could be hidden literally anywhere thanks to a few key points. The stump quest, Gold Brand underwater. Just felt like ancient secrets around any corner. I'm actually trying out daggerfall ATM for the first time and enjoying it more than I expected.
Oh man, I'm definitely doing a daggerfall unity series at some point, I actually bought a physical copy of the PRIMA guide from '97 to learn the quirks!
The Pilgrims Latern is exceptionally useful. It has the highest amount of uses at 999,999 and also radiates the most amount of light. Watching a Coffeenutgaming video about it the Pilgrims Latern has a life of 32 Real life years
Telekinesis is great for trapped doors or chest as you can interact well backed away and it won't hurt you. Also you can steal from a distance well crouched and if I remember right it can also increase chance of pickpocketing but morrowind has a messed up fraction that makes it harder than it should to pickpocket normally. Mind you I've only played xbox original back in the day and backwards compatible one for xbox one on a series x. (It crashes alot unfortunately) with the command creature you can move npc's to places your more likely to frequent if you need them like the scamp merchant. If you drain endurance you can cripple something health or strength to watch them get stuck from over encumbered and they're hits do no damage almost. Also I really recommend people try spears I think they're some of the best weapons in the game and any kinda weapon you want to use I can't recommend enough that you take your time grinding small bs fodder or making money to train so you can get you hit chance up. Thanks for the video and if you read to here anyone best of luck nerevarine may you find your answers with and against the house unmourned.
Best one imo is the boots of blinding speed and a constant effect resist magicka amulet 😊
I'd argue the Savior's Hide in Divath Fyr's closet and/or The Ebony Mail from the Temple questline is better but whatever. This is easier to get earlier but it is certainly not better than the unique chestpiece armors I just mentioned.
True, I was looking at base armor rating and availability. Maybe "best heavy non-daedric artifact chestpiece", it just doesn't roll off the tongue as well lol
@@Gitshiver Dragonbone Cuirass has the same Armor rating but much more usefull enchant 100% fire resistance. COuld be accured on level 1 as well just need some summoning scrolls and invisibility scroll/ring.
"who needs silt striders and boats when we have drugs and magic?" aaaaand subscribed.
Audio is a lot better now!
fantastic channel my man!
Thanks! Got lots more coming!
I guess I'll be the 50th comment, this video was awesome, short but full of good information, might as well make a new character on my day off
Should do a video on the Sword of White Woe you can get basically in the beginning once you get to balmora best early game sword once you can get it.
Nice content bruv!
There is another way with the bloodmoon dlc, I always go to Thirsk so I can get the ebony arrow of slaying as well as the other items from the tree stump, then all you need is to get a bound bow spell and use it ( or enchant a gear) and reload the game until you hit him to get the armor. ( as the arrow insta kills I always use it on Umbra as well to get the sword at lvl 1)
I love that stump, just haven't found a good spot to feature it just yet, but it will pop up at some point
I guess you did that loaded yourself with anti destruction of squirrels to beat the trap.
Have my comment for a great dose of nostalgia
Thanks! Morrowind is always great for that!
Lo conoscevo quel posto. Trov ai quell'armaturaquando ero Crusadert.
Chuckled hard at the chest
I really wasn't expecting it to be that deadly lol I wonder what was in there...
Nice using scroll and skooma lol, all you need is 1 pt feather and it'll cushion fall. So you can enchant or simple spell
It was either that or 1 sec levitation
I love how many ways morrowind has to deal with different situations!
What about the glass armor?
I love the glass armor in morrowind! Definitely a really solid light armor. My qualification of "best" here is purely based on the Armor Rating. Glass Cuirass is 18, which is pretty amazing for its class, But the Lord's mail has an AR of 100 by itself, it actually ties with the Dragonbone cuirass, too.
Haha that for another 200 years coment got achuckle our of me.
Squirrels
Destruction squirrels could be quite useful, someone needs to mod that in!
Anyone else stop to wonder how the daedra still hold power when mortal men have beaten their asses consistently? Just take the oblivion invasion of morrowind lmfao, all the lizards just went full doomguy and beat their demon asses back behind the starting line lmfao
