What to do after Seyda Neen - Mysteries of Morrowind 2: The Road to Balmora
Here is a hint: you can pick Dark Elf (Dunmer) as your starting race so that you can follow the prophecy of the Nerevarine!
That's a really good quest line. Another is also an awesome city.
St Delyn North-Two is my absolute favorite so far, I love the roleplaying element of doing a bunch of quests, then coming back there and storing my loot, and taking off my armor. It's kind of like that reddit meme about the city being dangerous but the food is yummy.
zombie house in morrowind
been playing morrowind for 23 years yet there's always something new to discover, such as these rusted chests in this video. Mannn... thanks for the upload.
I love your voice, could hear you talk for days. I probably already found everything in this video, but damn am i going to watch it.
Christians are horrible.
"Maybe we found a..." No, no you didn't.
In balmora you can buy a bow with summon bow effect, after that you don't need another bow
In the Balmora Fighter's Guild, there's a dude who sells a Dwemer Jinksword. That thing has carried entire runs for me.
8:20 I'm familiar with Morrowind's leveled lists for loot, but had no idea all these years you could use the same exploit as in Daggerfall. I would use that trick all the time in Daggerfall to maximize what loot I get as the game is merciless on new players. All these years I never even imagined it carried over into Morrowind.
"Assu (lol)"
Bow of Shadows.
Damage health on self is useful for corprusmaxxing.
I also recall finding a dagger that granted levitate in a daedric ruin, that also held two daedric tantos, i don’t remember what it was called, but i found it on the way to the dwemer ruin with the father and daughter duo
All I need is the spell effect Drain Skill
My friend and I would use the construction set to make our own op weapons. we would hide them in the world for the other to find with some clues and dialog from npcs. Fun times.
good video
6:24 both amulets of intervention are given as quest rewards from the mages guild in Ald Ruhn
Since this vid showcases the savescum method on levelled random enchanted item chest to get the desired loot, guess I have to bring up the guaranteed but random Ebony weapon (they're not affected by your level) you can find inside the chest inside of the dome room on top of Marandus, you can save before opening the chest until you get the desired Ebony weapon class that matches your main weapon skill except Marksman (no Ebony Arrows/Throwing Stars/Darts) it does require more work than getting free Daedric weapon by simply going in and out of Vassir-Didanat Mine, but at least Ebony weapon doesn't take up massive amount of carry weight, maybe do it when you're tasked to go to Punabi and Sulipund for Mages Guild or Ashunartes for Fighters Guild as Marandus stronghold is nearby when you head there
Yo, thank you for the legit tip there about the dagger! That is a huge guaranteed to find item.
I love your channel avatar. Scribs need more love than getting turned into facehuggers by ESO
This was super useful. Thanks dude.
Wow, this is a good channel. I subscribed!
~ player->AddItem "amulet of mark" 1 player->AddItem "amulet of recal" 1 player->AddItem "amulet of almsivi intervention" 1 player->AddItem "amulet of divine intervention" 1 player->AddItem "steel blade of heaven" 1
I got both intervention amulets at level 20+ Also, do you use AI? Gnaar Mok pronounciation gives it away.
Nope. Was recovering from pneumonia
@Gitshiver then maybe I've been saying it wrong for 20 years lol I thought the G was silent
@fosyay1780 its sometimes hard to say what the intended pronunciation is with Morrowind, I know I butchered a few names in this one for sure lol
You just need goldbrand and you’re good
Like the other guy I was actually a bit worried if the narration was AI (first video I've seen on this channel for the record) Glad it isn't haha. Hope you get well soon.
Good to see people still playing Morrowind after so meny years
The intervention amulets can be obtained from the Ald Rhun mage's guild quests.
The Steel Blade of Heaven was a godsend for me, instead of having to swim around through all of the Telvanni areas dying to Dreugh.
You BETTER be sick. Sounds a bit AI that voice lol.
I was coming off a difficult bout of pneumonia while recording, so I was definitely not at my best lol
For my acrobatics and speed enjoyers .....make sure to always have a hoptoad ring and an amulet of slow falling on you , activate hoptoad and then equip amulet of slow fallings magic effect .....jump and activate the amulet when youre at the highest point of the jump , there you have a better levitation ......if you want to stay in the air then reactivate amulet before falling down
It's been over 20 years since I had this dagger in my First playthrough and I recognized it immediately. Wow.
Boots of blinding speed were the best item in morrowind.
Shoutout to Umbra
You sound eerily like Todd Howard the similarity is uncanny
Gee, I suppose i should feel blessed to get the Almsivi Intervention amulet. Got it a few days ago and was confused at first. It could REPLACE the scrolls entirely but was only worth like 24GP. Ive realised something of Morrowind, some of the greatest items appear as common wares
After you get attacked by the Dark Brotherhood, go to Mournhold, buy any fortify skill spell at the imperial temple and make a custom fortify _insert desired skill._ If needed, make a "fortify restoration" and cast it before you cast your desired spell skill. Fortify speechcraft, mercantile, repair and security are a must, and even though it is not a skill, foritfy luck is extremely useful to cast prior to entering a dungeon (e.g. Fortify luck 100p x8 for 1 second on self) for the higher your luck is, the better the random loot will be (in random crates and chests). And with several/dozens of fortify alchemy spells, you break the game.
For Almsivi and Divine intervention you can make them yourself with low Enchant skill. So long as you're at least 15 Enchant skill (cast cost for enchanted items decreases with higher skills) all you'll need is a Scrib filled Petty Soul Gem and an Expensive Ring (found as random loot but also from traders and clothiers and not really that expensive). It can take a few tries but you can improve the chances if you have decent restoration skill and can cast a Fortify Intelligence 100 and Fortify Luck 100 for two seconds spell. The advantage of the rings over the amulets is the rings are much lighter. The disadvantage is, if you're using rings with constant effects like Mentor's Ring, is having to replace them every time you use the ring to cast a spell.
Wanted to say the same. Much of this supposed "expert morrowind" advice on yt is just them being fundamentally incompetent at core mechanics. You could also commission these trinkets if you want to roleplay as a characters that doesn't do magic period. Buy the spells, fork over a bit of money, done.
I always simply take Horimier as a companion, he's actually a surprisingly tough damage sponge and will often tire enemies down considerably even knocking them down, I Grab him and Penimae both and keep em close if whenever I intend to incur into the ash lands or any relatively close objective.
I love your videos, Gitshiver
New morrowind content? In this economy? Sold!
One of my favourite items is the dagger you were already wielding; the Fang of Haynekhtnamet. Very cool idea to shape an elemental dagger from the tooth of a dragon.
when you're in caldera. go ahead and go upstairs in the bigger building in the square and sell your items to a lil guy named "creeper" he buys items at their real price, and buys alot of things for full price you cant sell elsewhere for even a fraction of the price. i always keep my mark right next to him. when im totally full of stuff i recall, drop things, and if i need money i sell to him. his money returns after 2 days so just wait 24hrs twice and he gets his money back. he is also one of the few npcs that actually has more than (2000 gold) he carries (5000 gold) if i remember right. and wont scam you when you sell to him. you can buy your items back the same price you sold them to him, but be careful. after a month or 2 in game time (waiting 24hrs like 50 times) he will delete the items you sell to him so dont sell him anything too important. just guard armor from vivec. 1k bounty for murder.. but youll get more than 50k for the armor they wear selling it to creeper. creepers is best npc in game imo, being right next across the street to the mages guild for easy teleports all over morrowind. another great item is the boots of blinding speed also right outside caldera. the lady on the road wearing them has a super short quest, then just kill her for her stuff as you wont see her in game again. or just kill her as soon as you see her depending how you are. if you choose a class like breton that dispels negative effect on your character they make you walk wayy fast than normal, without the "blind" effect. combo it with the hide of hircine (found later in the game) and you got yourself a huge movement boost. every playthrough its straight to caldera for these boots.
The Ring of Aversion found at the Traider in Caldera can help out quite a bit when hunting down these artifacts.
Also a good way to break agro if you're being chased by cliff racers;).
@@silverjohn6037 Also fun to use it to get up close to an enemy, stunblock them with a Jinkblade until they are paralyzed and then cut them down.
You can get both intervention amulets from early Edwina quest from MG. One great pick up is the restore fatigue amulet from Galbedir. It costs like 20 drakes and is amazing if you get ambushed while running with empty fatigue bar. Joining telvanni and doing slave rebellion quest for Therana's mouth can get you toxic cloud and fire storm rings if you take a certain path in that quest. These can carry you through almost any encounter on max difficulty, provided you don't get reflected. North of Gnisis, following the path you will find a pond with a woman next to it. Ignore her, and look carefully around pond shore for semi transparent person hiding. Kill them to get 80% chameleon for 60 sec amulet. In ald ruhn in an inn basement you can find a giy named Shashev who is involved in a vampire quest which you dont need to do if you dont want Eltonbrand. He carries insane poison dot and paralyze ring. If you join telvanni, bringing 3 certain books to Baladas will net you Ondussi's key ring with open 50 and an amulet with frost dot and paralyze.
I was randomly exploring and came across that pond you mentioned. One of my favorite encounters in the entire game. I was so suprised!
I actually have a divine intervention amulet on my main playthrough, I forgot where exactly I found it, but it does prove useful.
Amulet of Locking 5pt Trust me, you'll want one.
I've played Morrowind before, but have always preferred Oblivion, so I've never really gotten into it. I've started streaming, and plan to do some Morrowind runs, soon hopefully. So its pretty cool that this came out when it did.
Incoming copyright strike from Young Scrolls almost there haha, that was some funny fist fighting action. Great tune though!
