To address when you said "why would people think I let myself suffer needlessly?". Some of us have already been through many of these journeys ourselves or as carers for loved ones. Sometimes we actually do know things too. And when we hear you say you're taking half doses of meds to stretch them to last while you do indeed suffer, your words... we offer our wisdom that came from experience.

All in all sounds like you arent doing too badly. Have you considered a recliner / easy chair to sleep in? That position might work out till your cough eases . On another someone with Esophageal cancer who had his esophagus removed just reviewed one as he has to sleep in that position now. Seems he has found it possible to sleep comfortably that way.

Yeah. I used to have one when I was young and it worked pretty well when I had asthma attacks. But I think I found a solution, so assuming it wasn't a one-time thing, I think I'll be good on that front from this point on. Thanks for the suggestion, though 🙏. Much appreciated.

Seems like you hit a rough patch but your symptoms are easing now. Med systems and resources differ from country to country and each patient has his own way of coping. If yours is working for you then fine. Hope you have a good day.

Ok my friend try to ask them to do the surgery on yout leg to get rid of the pain,I know that they don't see the point because you are all ready stage IV but it will manage the pain, and also about your head try to do surgery and try to manage only the lung pain because there is not a possibility for surgery...

All four of my grandparents immigrated from Sweden. My mother was able to visit the home where my grandmother was born. The house had a register of previous owners back to it being built.

@@JerseyLynne Wow! You are as Swedish as I am, although you never lived here. 😃
How interesting about the house register! All Scandinavian countries have church records and other records/register from the early Middle Ages. So it’s very interesting to do genealogy here. You can find out a lot about your relatives. Do you know where in Sweden your grandparents are from? I am from northern Sweden.

@@merrymaid2890 I think it in the South. I am a Swanson/Benson. My grandfather, father and two uncles were Lutheran ministers.
My grandfather told me, you never say a woman is pregnant, you say she went to Germany.
He taught me how to say 7,777 sea sick seamen and other phrases like var s gud and tacksameeka. (Spelling)
We had smorgasbord on Christmas eve including pork roast, pickled herring, Lutefisk and lingonberries. I wish I lived in Sweden, I wish at least I traveled there.
I watch a vlog by a Swedish woman who lives in Longyearbyen on Svalbard! She went to Sweden to visit friends, and after a walk, they let the baby finish its nap outside in winter!
I also watch a RUclips channel called Mentour Pilot. Peter is a airline pilot. I've been watching his RUclips channel since it started he has over a million subscribers and is quite famous in this country!
