So Faputa makes beast repellents to avoid these things outside as well as having Gabu as her protector, but for the most part a lot of the Abyssal creatures just see her as just part of the food chain. She doesn't really deal with this many creatures at once, they were just gathered here because they were attracted by the scent of bloodshed and because of something else I won't spoil. She may be powerful but even she can't stand against a horde of predators by herself.
the scene with the villagers feeding her with themselves is like a redemption try for them eating her siblings, thsi series keeps breaking me beyond reasoning, i feel like i need a break after every episode
Important Notice The next and final episode of "Made in Abyss" will be available in two weeks. The final episode will be a 50-minute special version. Please look forward to it, though it will be a bit of a long wait.
It's so tragic if you think about Belaf... The flashback of Irumiyui thinking that Belaf is like a father to her... Belaf being forced to eat Irumiyui's children.... He asked to be sacrifice but when he transformed he lost his memories temporarily... I guess Irumiyui sealed his memory since it basically traumatized him.... It also explains his actions of why he is munching on Mitty.... It is only when Faputa entered the village that he remembered everything also Faputa basically killed his grandfather.... Belaf's life is basically a tragedy... 💔 Edit: His transformation is also reflected with his trauma... He couldn't resist eating the children of Irumiyui thus his transformation doesn't have a mouth....
If I remember correctly, most of the creatures of the 6th Layer should be able to see the forcefield. In other words, they are able to predict movement or foresee intent like the Orb Piercer back on the 4th Layer. However, the only one who can do that on the other side is Nanachi. I don't believe Faputa has that ability. Hence why despite her strength and speed, it appeared as if the monsters knew exactly how and where she was going to move. That's why they never missed their mark despite the carnage. We nearly forgotten just how scary and strong the monsters of the Abyss are. Now even more so we are on the 6th Layer. Every monster here is probably at least as strong as the Orb Piercer if not stronger. Our group is gonna need some serious levelling up if they want to take on anything in the 6th Layer.
@@alexmartin6561 Most likely the Ganja squad was more invisible to the monsters. While the Narehate village had both Faputa and Gaburoon there who both attracted the monsters. Faputa I believe her smell attracts them or something and Gaburoon pissed off the Turbinid Dragon so that creature was always looking to get revenge. Apparently the Turbinid Dragon holds a grudge.
@@alexmartin6561 This is MAJOR spoilers for the story if you haven't read the manga but: When Ganja squad arrived, it was not part of the CURRENT 2000-year cycle of the abyss. Irumyui's village is now in the FIRST layers of the abyss, and you can see remains of them in the praying skeletons. Before their home was made, the shourou layer (what we know as the 6th) was not as dangerous. The Abyss appears to get deeper and the hole wider every 2000 years. 1) If you look at the shot of the abyss from S2 E1, the hole to the abyss is MUCH smaller than it is int he wide shot of Orth from S1 E1. 2) The Ganja squad passes the "Gateway" to the abyss when they first enter the village 3) The ruins riko is searching in S1 E1 are all the trunks of petrified trees, like the trees irumyui's people lived in. 4) When nat directs Reg to a squishy relic in S1 E3, he pulls one out of a cave with a rounded entrance that looks a lot like the one from S1 E2's village elder 5) Then there's the Star Compass Riko finds in the first layer.
Belaf create Mitty by sold all of his limbs, half of his length and several of his sensory organs. If Riko need to do the same she will reduced into upper-half human torso with eyeless and earless head. Belaf really being graceful with Riko that time.
Man this episode was beautiful and depressing and messed up. My favorite anime this season hands down. Kevin nailed the OST I can't say it enough. Every time I feel like Faputa should stop, I see her anger and I remember how the people ate so many of her siblings and Irumyui's fate and then I just don't know. Also, I'm not sure about this but I think Nanachi was using the fishing rod with a bait that has a strong smell. She was marking where Belaf should go because Belaf had no eyes. His sense of smell is what's strong. Man, I had doubts about you Belaf, but you went out true to your old noble self.
Thanks again for you getting so deep into the characters and souls of the protagonists! But what me scares and depresses most isn't the cruelty, desperation and helplessness of Faputa, Reg and Rico or the villagers, but that vision of badass Nanachi (who grew in her character massively from sarcastic and knowledgeable to amazingly wise): WAZUKYAN! He's unlike Riko not only eager to reach the bottom of the Abyss like as a child's innocent desire, but he additionally uses the adult's force of intrigues and spinning situations towards his advantage, this with always wearing the attitude of a gentle sage. Nanachi's vision of Wazu's plan to bend over Riko into another "village", from where the descent can go on, by supporting a fresh crush between Vaputa and Reg and then (mis)using her three eggs of desire, frightens me to death! 😧 Sorry for the long post...
I love your reactions guys you understand very well the pain of both sides believe it or not, there are many edgy people who only want faputa to destroy everything and do not empathize with the other characters I hope you enjoy the final chapter, for me it has a beautiful ending, I hope it is the same for your
Enbelietz and Ajapoka died in the last episode when Faputa got inside their body. Now Shurekaka and this guy (who's name i can't remember rn) who sells cave-rider equipment was also part of the original group of the Ganja are gonna die, so is the same for Pakkoyan. We just gonna lose them all here in the blink of an eye.

That's exactly what they were, Predators. It was insane how they didn't give any room to breathe.

We both felt the same way. We were so emotionally exhausted after the past few episodes.

Belaf has transformed into what he desires, a white dragon the incarnation of beauty. and the eyes that can look deep into nature.
Wow well said.
absolutely goated anime of the season
Ain't that the truth!

So how in the world did the exiled people even survive for all that time?
It makes sense, I was shocked and amazed at how fast they seemed to react to faputas speed.

YES! Perfect timing as I just finished watching this! The worst part about this is that the finale is 2 weeks away TwT
Just like two centry.

Wow omg that makes so much sense now with the fishing rod. Belaf did go out with his dignity.

The thing with riko, pretty sure it was the iron rain heat that made her like that from last episode
Actually, the use of the White Whistle drains energy its user.
@@yorgosatsavelis3325 ah thanks for the knowledge
