I usually pour cold water in a bottle with the tea leaves and put it directly in the fridge. I feel like it works well with teas that have more elevated and fresh notes like taiwanese green oolongs, green teas or some black teas. Of course The taste is definitly lighter but it can also cut some astringency or bitterness which I kind of like on hot summer days, feels more refreshing!

I brew tea bags like Lipton black tea in room temperature water and add ice and almond milk. I save the loose leaf for my Gaiwan and hot water.

Yes, i only cold brew flavored teas. I won't waste good Oolongs on cold brews.
