    I use water that has been chilled all day, then add the green tea and let it steep overnight.

    I hear the cold brew method for making organic green tea reduces enough of the caffeine to make it safe for dogs to drink

      cold brew tea is very good, particularly in the summertime!

  • @33Crazydude
    @33Crazydude Год назад +1

    In the summertime, I like to mix a little bit of lemon cordial with my cold-brew green tea.
    That said, I was worried that cordial might inhibit the absorption of those wonderful antioxidants.
    Is it ok to mix green tea with a little bit of lemon cordial, and will I still get the benefits of those antioxidants from the green tea?

    • @Nioteas
      @Nioteas  Год назад

      I think you will still get them and you may even get more because of the lemon cordial. The only thing I've heard interfering with the antioxidants is milk

    what is the strongest tasting tea i? am looking for a coffee substitute with powerful taste

    • @Nioteas
      @Nioteas  10 месяцев назад +2

      Hojicha has a similar taste to coffee but it is a bit weaker. If you want a strong flavor I would say matcha is the strongest and you can save on both during our fall sales: nioteas.com/collections/fall-sales

    Trying to up my tea game here--I have your teas coming in the mail!Does the amount of green tea to water scale? Can i do 10-20g tea leaves to 1L of water?

    • @Nioteas
      @Nioteas  11 месяцев назад +2

      Thank you so much for your order! For some reason it does not seem to scale so well. I would recommend making it in 2 different pitchers if you want more. You might need to experiment a bit to find the ideal cold brew recipe

    I assume we only do one infusion with the leaves when cold brewing?

    • @Nioteas
      @Nioteas  Год назад

      yes I can't quite figure out why but I can never get as good of a flavor after a long cold brew. You can still try a second infusion though!

      I'm making second infusion overnight, it gives me water just with slight taste of green tea, but it still good to drink it instead of regular water
