0 point chilli on weight watchers

  • Let’s meal prep some delicious 0 point chilli!!
    So this recipe is literally just thrown together. So you can add extra or take things away whatever works for you.
    I started cooking 2 lbs of extra lean ground turkey
    Added in salt and pepper to taste
    I used 2 tbsp minced garlic
    Added a can of mushrooms. You can add any type of vegetables you want.
    When that is all cooked I added in
    1 large can of tomato sauce
    1 large can of crushed tomatoes
    1 large can of diced tomatoes
    2 cans of red kidney beans washed off
    1 can of rotel diced tomatoes with green chiles
    1 large can of tomato paste
    1 container of low sodium beef broth
    2 packages of chilli seasoning
    After that is all mixed up I let it simmer on the stove for hours to let the flavours blend together.
    I taste it and add more of things if needed.
    I found it bitter so I added 2 tbsp of baking soda(this will bubble up that’s ok)
    I also added some red chilli flakes for a bit of spice and quite a bit more chilli powder.
    Again you can add more veggies, tomatoes whatever you want.
    I portioned mine into 8 1/2 cup servings and 3 2 cup servings. This made 11 servings and I froze 8 of them. These heat up nicely. I just take it out before hand and leave it on the fridge to thaw.
