Jamat-e-Islami ki tareekhi position hamesha say Pakistan mukhalifat rahi hai aur ab bhi badastoor qaim hai. Maulana Maoddodi nain Pakistan ko Na-Pakistan karar farmaya tha (''Musalman aur Maujooda Siasi Kashmakash vol. III', office of The Tarjuman-ul-Koran, Pathankot, 1942 p.108). Yehi haal baaqi Islami jamaaton ka tha. Jamiat-ul-ulama-e-Hind kay Maulana Husain Ahmed Madni nay October 1945 main 'fatwa' dia tha keh Muslim League aur Jinnah kay liyay vote dena haraam hai. Maulans Mashriqi nay do bar Jinnah per qatilana hamlay karvai, Jamat-e-Ahrar kay Maulana Mazhar Ali Azhar kehtay thay keh Jinnah Quaid-e-Azam naheen balkeh Kafir-e-Azam hai, vaghaira, vaghaira. Yeh jaantay hooay bhi keh Koran main kissi bhe kisum kay nizam-e-hakoomat ka zikar naheen, yeh log us kay naam per hakoomat karna chahtay hain. Khuda ra in ki baton per nah twajo dain aur na he in ki publicity karain.
